You're half right 😁 Vincent is my 87546 and Tara is my take on the red engine in the shed (Edward's Day Out). I don't have a vision for 98462 since for my AU they are a young Molly. For the sake of not straying too far from the source material 98462 is just a generic mean engine in this adaptation 😆
Unfortunately nowhere until next Halloween 😭 I moved house during the time I would have spent working on it so next video will probably be around Christmas time. At least this way there'll be an extra year to make sure the next Halloween video is a good one 😁
If Thomas becomes public domain I know straight away, someone's obviously gonna make a horror movie off of him.Because number one that's what everyone else is doing with every other franchise thats public domain and number 2 it's f****** Thomas The tank engine Of course someone is going to make a horror movie off of him.obviously I don't want that to happen but I know it's going to happen.
Out of all of the videos I've seen. My face seems to show up the most. It was nice getting to meet you and your friends on the picnic on Sunday. I hope I helped you a little bit with the ride back to tywyn. And hope I wasn't too much of a bother to you. I'm the guy in the Australia hat. Almost lost it twice on Sunday.
I'm imagining a mobile game where you play as Topham trying to run his railway and you get to expand the engines, rolling stock and railway as you go along 😆
Ive always had this theory about Douglas and Toad in the ending of "Little Western" that when that Douglas wanted to keep Toad as his brakevan before Oliver kept him to himself in future stories Ive always thought that Douglas wanted to keep Toad forever to himself without sharing with Oliver since he sees him more polite and charming than the spiteful one that he killed. "Ive got a plan Mr. Douglas... >:)" 😈🔪
I do agree I like it being superfluous and not some main driving force of anything, Rosie is red is definitely just a good moral but delivered in one of the weirdest ways possible through a mostly realistic talking train show…
On that note what you said about the "adult language thomas" the Trainz and TRS people often take the thomas idea to the PG13 levels and above, often just to avoid the "kids only content" which is YT's own flawed algorithum, you don't seem to understand FTC rules like we do.
Oh no I totally get that, it's a very awkward situation for the RU-vidrs. RU-vid Kids has been a pain in the neck for loads of us, especially in the Thomas fandom. For an official franchise/series and such you would be under a different set of circumstances than to making fan content on the internet. 😊
That's on me, I hadn't been referring to this specific visit, just all the times I'd been in general ☺ This was my third visit to the railway and up until then I'd met all of the steam engines but Talyllyn.
Sadly I didn't make for the Extravaganza. The CloudStrike Outage left me stranded in Atlanta the Thursday before and my replacement flight, which would have left the Saturday of, was also cancelled. Absolutely ruined my week. I'm finally getting to go in October to see the Talyllyn, but it's a shame I didn't get to go during the event. Looked like fun, even with the rain.
I'm sorry the CloudStrike got in the way of your Extravaganza fun 😭 Glad you'll be getting to visit all the same, the railway is always worth the visit regardless 😁 Better luck next year perhaps!
according to the UK Copyright Law a Broadcast goes into the public domain from 50 years from which the year the show aired meaning that The original Thomas And Friends show or at least season 1 idk will go into the public domain on 9 October 2034.
I think that only applies to the footage of the broadcast rather than the franchise as a whole. So in theory, it could be perfectly legal (in roughly a decade's time like you said) to exhibit Series 1 footage without paying royalties, but it wouldn't mean Thomas and Friends itself goes public domain.
@@Progobro25 I think so 🤞 I think to get any conclusive answers or take this investigation into Thomas' public domain rights further it's going to require the involvement of a legal professional 😆
Here are a few things from Thomas that scared me as a kid: 1) Henry's face in "Henry To The Rescue" (known as "Edward, Gordon, and Henry" in the UK, and mentioned in this video. 2) Duck's close-up shocked face in "A Close Shave For Duck." 3) Percy in a Season 2 promo image staring at the camera. This photo was in a book, and I always got jumpscared when I saw that image, and would turn two pages instead of one to get past it. 4) A similar shot in "Percy's Ghostly Trick", when he enters the shed. 5) S.C.Ruffey smiling at the camera in "Toad Stands By." These, for me, were truly horrifying, and yet, I was never scared of the spooky episodes. (aside from "Percy's Ghostly Trick", but for the wrong reason.)
I'd certainly be open to doing this with some more episodes! With Trusty Rusty I can only think of one small scene I would change so it's probably not worth me doing that particular episode.
The theory that Joy is the main villain of Inside Out really annoys me. This, for some reason, doesn't do the same. It's a possible but stupid idea, whereas the Inside Out theory is complete bullcrap.
Isn't the Inside Out theory one that people are taking seriously? I feel like with that one it's a case of it being too obvious if it was to be true. Glad this Toad one doesn't have the same effect, I still get jokes about this novelty 😂
It's very likely that it'd be something along those lines. Maybe one of the engines starts to ask questions and doesn't understand it themselves, but through some narrative ends up appreciating the impact those feelings have on people. Would have been a great story for a young Thomas whilst his drivers fell in love with Sodor people!
You're most welcome! I've got a few more videos from this area coming up as I've only just come back from another trip to Wales, I hope you'll enjoy those too 😁
