Was pretty selfish for the Americans to only care about themselves and not representing their country. Thought Americans were the most patriotic but it's all about me myself and I while guys like Ohtani gave it his all and didnt give a shit about the money. Sums it up pretty much Ohtani is playing for legacy, those other guys were playing for a paycheck.
As a Yankee fan, the story of them losing out on Maddux, Cone, and Bonds hurt. As a kid, I remember how excited I was about the possibility of the Yankees signing 2 out of the tree. And that was the rumor throughout the entire season. In retrospect, it worked out for the Yankees, but the thought of having Maddux and Bonds on the squad still amazes me.
Any Yankees “aura” is a media creation. They are nothing special. Their players are nothing special, aside from Cole and Judge. Management seems to have no clue as to how to rebuild the team.

who is zack kidding he was terrible with the yankees. he was nowhere as good when he was with baltimore. he was terrible in the playoffs. lance lynns career has been over since the first time he was with the cardinals. he is fatter and all he throws is home runs, ask the white sox and dodgers.
He still averages a K an inning. Thinking that if he busts his butt this offseason he will shove next year. He certainly wants to go out on a far better note. Thinking he has the potential, along with Gibson to be excellent back of the rotation arms.
57:19 no. Just no. It’s been pretty well studied that stadiums do not actually improve the economies of cities. It can change where money is being spent in the city but it offers no increase in actual financial health of the city. No city should give billionaire owners hundreds of millions of dollars that only enriches the owner and does nothing to actually help the city.
YES needs to get rid of Michael Kay and just let Coney and Paul O'Neil call the games. The baseball knowledge between them is phenomenal and they make Kay look like the clown fanboy he is when he opens his mouth. More Coney on YES!
@@chrisws1878No. Kay, the color guy, is dumb. I don't need someone telling me it's a 3-2 count with 2 outs. I'm watching the game. I know what the count is and how many outs there are. If it were radio it would be different. Color guys are for the tourist baseball fans watching, or the morons who can't keep track of the game themselves.
