Wow, still underestimating Chelsea, I fully expect Arsenal and Manchester City to still be alive late in the Champions League. So when you have to play 3 games a week, who's better than Chelsea and most important who's depth do you trust? Mia Fishel for a Cup game, Sam Kerr for a League game, and Myra Ramirez for a Champions League game works for me....💙🏆❗
We have lost a lot in viv, and lacasse. And we have lost our 2 best chants (lacasse and sabrina)! We have also lost -for most of the season - the increasingly impressive Pelova, so wally and kimmie have to look after their knees. However, Mariona has already made a difference in our fluidity and confidence. Kafaji looks so exciting, (like she did in WCL against Chelsea); and Foord and Frida seem finally to have found their shooting boots. I feel very optimistic. And like you, i really hope katie reid gets minutes, as she looked pretty agressive and unruffled in the friendlies.
i highly rated bennison and she is gone, not particularly sure on how they would be this season, i think one of the clubs fighting for relegation however it hink they would stay up. not sure were the goals are coming from aswell..
incoming signings that stand out to me is the experience of kirby i think she will add that class at times which would keep them up, but for me its cankovic, she was brilliant at chelsea and technically gifted. terland big miss but glad we have her at united
miedema and lacasse would be a big lost to arsenal however they still have strengh and depth, i think there will be alot more expecting russo to fire into double digits this season, foord been on fire and mead is brilliant, KCC in mid getting more games under her belt will be solid in midfield, however im just not convinced if they will get top 3 - maybe from a bais point as i am a united fan, city added more fire power and chelsea squad is stacked.
Sonia is very much like Emma in that losing is not in her DNA. She hasn’t lost her preseason matches including a win against arsenal and a 9-0 win at kingsmeadow
After their friendly match against Chelsea sorry there is no change. I don’t even think they will finish in top 3 this season. Chelsea managed to mark Russo out the match and without her and Viv against the big 2 they won’t win the league.
That was a nothing kind of match, though chelsea did look better. We are beginning to gel as the qualifiers for the qualifiers of the WCL showed. We've got a ways to go, but I'm optimistic. - especially if we can keep Kimmie's knees in cotton wool between matches!
