I would not recommend because monsoon begins somewhere mid July , and looking at the scenario this year I would recommend you to plan it late August or end of May .

Hello , I have been to Ladakh in mid August few years back , and at that time there was no snow or ice on the roads , but there were few water crossings. So I would recommend going towards the end of August at max as the weather starts changing from September. My car also had a similar ground clearance so that should not be a problem as far as you are careful of the potholes .

Hello , We already got petrol refueled at karu , also we carried an extra fuel container of 10l with in case of any emergency. We did face a bit difficulty in breathing at high altitude, drinking a lot of fluids helped , also in case of issues you can also carry oxygen can , and take a diamox(on doc prescription) for altitude sickness.
