Tak Ringo Starr wspomina swoje ostatnie spotkanie z George'em Harrisonem: "Ostatnie tygodnie życia spędzał w Szwajcarii. Pojechałem go odwiedzić. Był bardzo chory, mógł tylko leżeć. Byłem u niego, gdy był już w kiepskim stanie... Leciałem do Bostonu, bo moja córka miała guza mózgu. Powiedziałem: 'No cóż, muszę lecieć do Bostonu', a on na to 'Chcesz, żebym leciał z tobą?!' Breaks my heart. Thinking back on 5150 and Live Without a Net, I looked up to him like a super hero. Like a god. And now I’m 52 years old and he’s gone. It sucks. Life isn’t fair and it never stops.
My brother, Tom, and I loved George Harrison. We listened to his music all the time as teenagers. I was blessed to see him and Ravi in concert and I will never forget how beautiful that night was. I still have the photos I took. Not the best quality but I treasure them still. Hope to see you one day George✝️☮️
