We were in Gatlinburg this past weekend for the 4th. We hit the Pancake Pantry the 2nd day. Sadly the Food was terrible, eggs were cold and the bacon was way over cooked. Next visit we will visit the German sandwich shop for sure !
We Loved this restaurant. We went in February this year to find it was permanently closed. We were so sad and disappointed. Their Ruben sandwich was the Absolute Best.
Thanks for the video. But it would be nice if you would lose the background music. It’s very distracting. My husband & I are older, that means the music is competing with your narration.
oh NO...i think i might be getting a wishkeeper this week on my vacation!!...if not two!!.... wand and carriage ornament (like i saw in another video) WHAT
I like the Old Town Trolley hop on hop off tours. You can stay for the entire loop the first time and get your overview as well as decide where all you want to hop off. Also we get the 2 day ticket because it's really difficult to see it all in 1 day.
The Blue Moon Brewery is haunted also. I got a voice recording on my phone while in the basement. I asked if anyone there dislikes the first-floor restaurant, and it said yes!
Enjoyed your video. Thanks for the info on the food. I will skip it. I have eaten on River Street and Broad Street several times and the food has always been good. I think going between the container ships was more interesting than the city views. What kind of camera do you use and do you use an external mic?
I wish they still had their cows - They used to have a Dairy - called Biltmore Dairy - They used to sell ice cream their we would always eat ice cream after the house
We love doing the bus tour, even though we visit every year. We always learn something! During Christmastime, they do bus tours where they also sing Christmas carols on the bus.
Thank you for highlighting our great local small businesses! Would love to show you some property the next time you are visiting the area! Appreciatcha!
Ok thanks for this great video. I was confused about the grand vs. The club. We are a family of four, but I don't think we need a big two or theee bedroom full kitchen suite, I don't want to be doing dishes , etc and I don't know if you can get cheap groceries anywhere! I think they do have a family suite Neckar ten days in a double aueennis a long time to be so close lol Was the room quiet?
We stayed in Room 533 last night and it was great! Nothing weird…..yes I did sleep with the light on because I watched your video before I stayed there 😂
@@davefisher1417 it’s not a fly, it’s a little white looking speck right on the underside of the tip of her nose. It’s very noticeable on a large screen tv.
11:46 Hey… that’s me… I was the actor who played Carl… I’m sorry for the terrible German accent 😂. Hopefully y’all enjoyed Savannah and I hope you come back soon 😁
Did you guys ever end up going at Christmas? We’re planning on a trip this year in December. I saw someone post that it’s so dark in there even during the day which makes it hard to see details but I was thinking, given the Christmas lights we would book an evening ticket. Any suggestions? Thank you! Love your Asheville videos!
I visited Biltmore a few years ago, and it was an incredible experience. The home is the main attraction, and for good reason but the gardens are truly a must-see. Your video really stirs up the excitement of visiting Biltmore all over again. I will make it a point to visit Biscuit Head too!
We went to Savannah a couple years ago and stayed at the River Street in for 3 nights. We loved visiting the city, hearing the history, and all the food! But the stay at River Street Inn was something else. We appreciated the location and the history of the building, but had no idea that is was a haunted location. We checked in to Room 530, not knowing that the 5th Floor was the most haunted floor. The room was beautiful, but there was enough "activity" to definitely keep you on edge. I even thought I saw a woman in white pass behind me as I was looking in the bathroom mirror. I also read somewhere that the most haunted room at the River Street Inn is Room 528 (so we were right next door), but the front desk can't mention that outright. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation to Savannah and would definitely return. Maybe not to River Street Inn, though... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
