2021-2023 information added by me: In 2021 she released her original song “7th Heaven” as well as several new covers, including “Easy on Me,” “Billie Jean” and “Mercy.” In 2022 she released the covers "Suspicious Minds" and "I Have Nothing." In 2020-23 she also released many short TikTok clips. She performed at three concerts last summer, and in 2023 an album is due to be released.

What a talent. I had not seen this version, just the one that she did with a Military Band in an outdoor venue, recorded by a person in the audience. Her mic was drowned out a bit by the band, but still she killed it. She was so far ahead of anyone else at her age, never mind English was not her first language. I suppose there are other very special people who just weren’t as lucky as her to be born into a special family that nurtured her abilities from a very young age. But when rare talent and nurture comes together, it is magic.
At least 3 takes for at least the video. If they recorded the church session, which from the way she handled the mic It looks like they did I want to hear it. I just don't hear this version in the church but I am not in the biz. Would love to know for sure.
The resonance in her low register singing is beyond that of any other singer out there. Then you bring in her power responses as well as the 'breathy' ones she learned from Billie Holiday which gives the listener a true look into her unique, vocal versatility.

All three ladies sing this song amazingly. But the fact Angelina is 13 and sitting on her couch while singing it at their level, sometimes even exceeding it, is unreal.
Interesting opening observation, Chris, about hearing footsteps when Angelina is normally barefoot. Maybe she walked in with shoes, then took them off before she started singing. But that was a clue for other discrepancies, like the violins that are heard but not seen, along with the cellist's movements not being in synch with the sound. And what happened to the echo in the church that Angelina mentioned in her Instagram message last week when she and Toby were jamming All Of Me? Either these things were altered afterwards in production, or they were also recorded in a studio, and later mixed. Don't know. But it is an amazing performance and top quality video-how Angelina should be presented to the world. Each version so far has its own purpose and audience. I would LOVE to see them both perform this song on a few late night talk shows, especially when her album comes out, assuming this song will be on it. But Toby's amazing track record and Grammy-winning reputation for many of the top singers in the business should be an entrée for her. This promises to be an exciting summer hopefully filled with more releases and concerts.
I hope and I think Toby will write some original songs for Angelina. One of the problem AJ has is the songs are coming out to slow. It all a numbers game for her right now. She by far is one of the most talented singer(maybe ever), but she need to start releasing songs every two weeks or at min Monthy. She can sing anything-Rupublic need to turn her loose and let her access to all their writers songs.
This is the female energy that men need. Not the booty twerking junk food energy. You go Angelina. Let a generation of young women see you as their role model. This world needs that, more than it knows.
Remember when she was younger? She had so much hair, it was like the thickest hair ever. Well, she still has it. She just needed to grow into it. 😊. I think she was ready to be this when she was 9 years old. She just had to wait for her body to catch up. There is something very, very special about her. It was already obvious when she was 7 years old.
I’m guessing the standard practice for many music videos, singing along to a previously recorded track, and the music and vocals you hear are that track. Nothing wrong with that at all. But I could be wrong! And, if the track is previously recorded, it could very well have been done in one long take. She is an awesome live performer.
This performance in church with the strings is just exquisitely beautiful. I was surprised to hear the lip sync comment. I don't have your technical background to discern those things. Regardless, this will be a magical year for Angelina. A story-teller supreme, gifted with a voice like none other. If only the rest of the world would hit pause and take a moment to listen to this young lady sing. Angelina is nourishment for the soul, in a very beautiful package.
Never saw so many reactors jump on one great song so fast. Reactors I have never seen in my life are coming out of the woodwork. Trouble is that Angelina will be making them money, while she gets nothing in return. Toby needs to get Angelina on a talk show, or variety show like he did for Victoria Justice a few years ago. Now she shows up in Europe, wonder what is up with that move? He has a "Piano Diaries" concert in June which she will appear on, among other singers.
The best singer by far with heavenly music. In the Tik Tok and some of her resent performance there is a little too much focus by her on her looks and that can never be a good thing.
I don't think this was recorded live. The only obvious clue that I detected is at 02:16 on the word "Me". She opens her mouth before you hear the end of the word "Me". I'm nitpicking that way, sorry lol.
Chris, thanks for the careful and nice comments, Angie is simply wonderful this time, but I don't think the reactions damage her too much, because after you listen to her once you need to listen to her again and again, her voice captivates you. You freeze ... endlessly listening to her wonderful voice and admiring her fantastic musical sensitivity, even the simplest song that passes through her hands becomes fantastic. She is simply unique and with a wonderful melodic perception. This interpretation (isn't a cover for me) is curative for the your soul and the soft background accompaniment of the piano and cello give her a beautiful silky backdrop.💛🧡❤
Thank you so much Chris. You made some really good points in your reaction . A phenomenal performance. I was particularly pleased that the instrumentation accompanied the voice...allowing her vocals to be the focus. Her voice was not competing with the instrumentation. I do believe that we are getting to the stage where videos and recordings really need to step up. I know she is still finding her way, experimenting and developing her amazing talent. However these performances and presentations are too far and few between. It really is time for the people guiding her career path to step up to the next level.

Nice reaction Chris! You probably know by now that the location is Saint James Church. The few complaints about her dress is a bit of nonsense. Like you said, she is getting older and that, to me, she looks very classy and elegant. Like you, I was hoping the other video would be coming out at the same time, but I guess we have to wait a little bit longer. The Artist Version(what Toby Gad called it) has more instrumentation and sounds commercial radio ready.
