👍🏻Wow, this is great! I love it 💙 Especially the clarinet player, she is fantastic. Like Dave Terras & Naftule Brandwein. I wonder if she ever met Jaap Mulder, the clarinet player of Di Gojim... .
Teke zortlatmasi is a litle bit of a genre name. The specific name of this is Yayla Yollari. (On the Way to the Summer Pasture). A musical gem from Teke (Antalya) Yoruks (Sheep or goat herding nomads.)
Teke Zortlatmasi means "To make the Billy Goat Jump or Dance), As I said it is a genre in the folkloric music of South Western Turkey. I will offer you another exaple of the genre here. I hope SHE'KOYOKH would not see me as a hijacker. I love them and their music. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YECkrVN_Lsw.html
The one on the left is Hayri Dev, not Bob Dylan. ;-). Yet they may have some common genes as Bob Dylan have some Kirgiz genes thru his great grand father who lived in Kars, north east Turkey of today.
Lovely to see how the musicians communicate visually, honouring and including and respecting each other and collaborating. Fabulous music, thank you for sharing.
Поздрав из Пољске! Мој деда је био Македонац. У мени тече југословенска крв! Живела Југославија!!! Pozdrav iz Poljske! Moj deda je bio Makedonac. U meni teče jugoslovenska krv! Živela Jugoslavija!!!
i saw you recently at a tiny Lincolnshire venue... Long Sutton... utterly spellbinding... my ancient knees even allowed me to get up and dance... but not for long. Keep doing what you're doing.
Evet, ne demek istiyorsunuz? Türkler 500 yıldan uzun Balkan topraklarındaydılar, asıl eğer o Türk ritimleri olmasa iş normal olmazdı (“Balkan” kelimesi bile etimolojik olarak Türkçe’dir, küçük bir not)
