Hi! My name is Emily and I travel the world as an English teacher. This channel is all about traveling the world and working abroad to make it happen. Please leave a comment if you'd like to request any videos, and thanks for joining me on this adventure! :)
Sevilla es una ciudad totalmente histórica por sus monumentos de época es la tercera ciudad del mundo con más patrimonio declarado Venecia Génova y Sevilla es una ciudad única?
This is so informative!! I'm looking to relocate to Spain as a Canadian citizen and CIEE really appeals to me since I will also have something to do in my native country, South Korea. Thanks a lot :)
Hi Emily! How much do you recommend saving for the move? Do you get paid the first month? I did NALCAP in Spain and am considering this next as well. Thanks :)
Hi! This could be wildly different depending on a lot of factors, but while EPIK recommends $1000, I felt safer with closer to $2000, as the cost of living here is quite high and I wanted to have fun in my first month without worrying too much. Like NALCAP, you should get paid at the end of your first month if you have a bank account open by then. Let me know if you have an other questions and I'll be happy to share my experience!
@@emilyabroad thanks so much! I am also curious what TEFL course you recommend? I know part in-person is recommended, but I'm also wondering which TEFL programs look the best because there are so many. Does it matter??
@@stephaniealton8063 Unfortunately I don't have any specific recommendations for TEFL course companies, but I don't think where you get it matters too much as long as they're legit. My only recommendations are to make sure you have the in-person practice component and that it matches the requirements of any countries you might want to teach in in the future. When I joined EPIK, the practical experience part was a requirement for Busan placements, even if you had teaching experience like NALCAP, so I would definitely recommend checking requirements like that. I hope this helps!
Good review, I'm currently staying here and there are more things that I would add on for criticism. For example, sometimes when you turn on the bathroom taps to wash your hands it smells really bad (don't know why). Also, the room lights on the panel sometimes turned on and off randomly for me as if someone else was controlling them. Moreover, the capsules don't lock from the outside (I dont know if this is normal for capsules but I didn't know this before)
Oh, wow, thank you for sharing some updates! I didn't have any issues with the water or the lights when I was there, but that was in February so there's plenty of time for things to change. I did have the same issue with the capsule not locking, but I'm used to hostel bunk beds, so it didn't feel much different when I had to put my valuables in the locker while I was out. I hope the rest of your trip was better!
Este lugar parece realmente interesante, espero poder ir pronto. Ver y compartir lugares como estos es por lo que me gusta viajar y hacer videos! Sigue adelante! Suscrito!!
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
As a spanish speaker myself, it's hard to say, but I don't believe it would be too difficult. Most of the popular destinations have tours in english and often times there are restaurants by those sites that have english on their menus. In general, I always recommend studying basic phrases and their responses (ie 'Where's the bathroom?' 'In the corner on the left.') and especially memorizing the words for anything you're allergic to or won't eat.
Emily, great video! Not too long but still informative. Lots of good facts rather than boring, opinionated recitations like many other travel videos. Hope you will do lots more. Thanks!👍

I think Seville is the most beautiful city in Spain - I loved Cordoba, Ronda, Barcelona, Granada and Madrid but Seville is stunning. Did most of the stuff in the video in 1 day
We went to La Casa del Flamenco in Seville! I bought last minute youth (under 26 years old) tickets for €15/person, but that was in June of 2021 so some things may have changed.
Bilbao and San Sebastián are oponents. Never tell to a "bilbaíno" somebody convinced you to leave for San Sebastián. (By the way, Bilbao fiestas "Marijaia" , in august, are the best)
Oh gosh, thank you for letting me know! Nobody mentioned a rivalry between the cities, but that does make sense. I hope I can return for the festival someday!

Good video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
No photos in the cathedral? I took like 300 and no one stopped me. I went in September 2021, so maybe the no photos things was a now-defunct covid regulation in order to keep people from staying in one spot for too long. I also was able to go up the tower without pre-booking.
