I'm Paul Cole and I have ten years of experience running a specialist cricket store. On this channel, I draw upon this experience and review cricket equipment from a large selection of brands - big and small.
I pride myself on my honesty and these videos are completely unbiased. They are a pure representation of my personal opinion of every product.
This is a hobby channel, so I really do appreciate your support! The more support I get, the more videos I can produce - it's as simple as that.
Nice vid Paul. I guess another way we could get more vids for you is to send new bats to you for you to review? Bit like how CricketBatInfo used to in Aussie.
Hey Paul. How much difference does a thick spine make? Here in India, many brands offer bats with 65-67 mm spine, 42 mm and weighting only 1140-1150 grams. Is it about the pressing?
Hi Paul It's a Canadian subscriber here. I'd really appreciate if you would do a review of the Kookaburra Pro Players LE Duffle 24. Thanks for being detail oriented.
What picks up nicer the tempesta or the shockwave ? I had an alpha from a few years ago and I loved it, picked up fantastic and had nice big specs, but these look a bit worse than the alpha and maybe not as big specs/more concaved. Would the tempesta suit more ?
Thanks for doing these great vids Paul. I would agree with the other comment regarding more smaller British independent brands. As a comparison for value of money. Eg Salix, Aldred, Rob Pack, OX29, Scott etc But it’s only a feedback idea.
Great review Paul. Was the audio a bit off/muffled? It might've just been me. I would love to see you review the Salix AJK, Salix AMP, and Salix Acid range. And if you get done with those, maybe some M&H bats? Keep up the great work, I really look forward to watching your videos.
Sorry, but what's the weight of the gm diamond limited edition? I've checked on different websites but there's no information available, on the gm's site there's one version of the same bat called limited edition but I can't seem to find the weight of the bat can you help me please ?
Good review Paul, DSC's an important player in the market at the moment. Good sticks. Have a bull 31 myself but I'm selling it off, not quite my vibe. Any shot of doing a world class willow review? Hearing their name a lot nowadays.
Please could I have some advice, my 9 year old hates keeping with keeper gloves (can't catch one handed as hasn't got a strong enough grip) are there any thin keeper gloves on the market?
Surely I’m missing something here but you are reviewing a bat from another business, and by the way nothing comes for free which is a ridiculous comment as everything is built in the price. You get nothing for nothing regardless of the brand and price but there are some people who review a product with knowledge.
Correct, I am no longer in the cricket business and doing this as a hobby because I enjoy it. Ad revenue would be nice but the channel isn't getting enough viewing hours just yet.
At £130.00 that’s a premium price my word is it not and above say New Balance or Adidas in price as an example for their top end shoe, not to mention those other top end shoes are designed specifically for either batsmen or bowler and are different shoes. An allrounder shoe which is no a specific specialist shoe at £130 is too much.
