I used to work for Geosource - Petty-Ray Geo.worked all over the western USA for 5 years, also in Guatemala Left the company in 1987 I was an Observer all of those 5 years. Did Vibrosize mostly but some Heli Portable Dynamite, Dynamite & land based Airguns in Nevada. Worked for Seis-Port (out of Canada - only heli Portable work) and an earlier company Seiscom Delta, they went out of business in the early 1980's, after buying United Geophysical for far too much money.
2024. I would hope to go the holy Matt Talbot for my specific need, but also hope he might help someone I love afflicted with a different addiction. Mother Mary pray for us. 🙏
Another memory is of the dance halls there. There was the Irish Club, mostly Irish dancing, and The Teachers a less cultured dance hall that attracted a different crowd.
I remember those days the late ‘50s. I lived not too far from Leeson Street. I was aware of Matt and his reputation for holiness. He lived close to what I recall as Gamby Lane, Gamby Lane was known as a courting lane. I often thought then of the contrast between Matt, his lifestyle and holiness, and Gamby, the courting lane.
Great band back in the day, saw them several times back in late 70s early 80s, the lead singer gave me his fit kilkenny badge one night in the Munster Arms in Cattick on Suir, great times , great bands.
Sad that these poor unfortunate gullible people spent the money on a useless building. Better if they had bought food or educated their children. What a malign influence the corrupt Roman Catholic church had on these people.
The poor young lad brainwashed by the corrupt Roman Catholic paedophile.Hope he wasn't molested by a cleric of the corrupt Roman Catholic paedophile cult.
What bs. Bullying harrasment and intimidation by the corrupt Roman Catholic paedophile cult. Gullible muppets falling for the crap of the cult. And the priest is a disgrace. His arrogance is astounding. Worse than the Nazis.
Just love the Dubs. That's the Dublin I remember. They were such decent, inoffensive people with big hearts. So sad it is gone. It's unrecognisable now. Thank you for posting. Just lovely.
