I actually took BigBandJazz from the Tyros 4 folder, removed the Super Articulation 2! clarinet parts in Intro/Ending II, and replaced it with the same one from the PSR-SX900. And entrusted it to the GermanClarinet patch.

Ohhhhh man! This sound! Exactly the sound I remember and love. No matter what, this version will be the #1 to me, but... I'm curious... How would it sound like with modern synths or with improved instruments?
I imagine this song to play in the tutorial of Microsoft Windows: the video game, adding more instruments as the tutorial goes on, kind of like the Splatoon tutorial.

The first part of the song (pre Phil Collins lol) is actually quite good. The issue is the production is sloppy. If you slowed the track down, EQ'd all the individual parts correctly and tidied up the timing it would actually be quite a nice little Jazzy DnB tune. The fact that you are in still school and made this is very impressive. I hope you carried on with your music, there is talent there, you just need to improve your production skills. Early pioneers such as Roni Size were releasing drum'n'bass just like this on commercial labels back in the day. Listen to as much Roni Size as you can. It will help you to get a feel for the Jazzy DnB sound, and continue to develop your sound. I wouldn't even comment on this video if I didn't feel you had potential. The first tune I sent to a label sounded much like yours, poor production, levels all wrong etc. However, the label still got back to me and urged me to send more material once I'd improved my production skills. I followed their advice and went on to release 3 White labels on vinyl. Do not give up.
If I did have a whirl on a Yamaha Genos in a music store I would have to buy one! I wouldn't care that I spent 4 grand on it because I'm sure one of these would be worth every penny! Last October I very nearly bought a Yamaha Tyros 5. Sadly I don't have very many music stores in my area and most guitar stores near me and very small and mainly only sell guitars. There used to be a couple of places near me that sold flagship keyboards but that was long time ago. Maybe in 5 years I might reconsider buying either a flagship or midrange keyboard.
I still have it. My DGX-660's MIDI cable port got jacked up and I had the YPG-235 in my basement for a while since the 660 came into my house. So, yeah. Major downgrade if you ask me. I'm hoping to one day get my hands on the DGX-670.
