Step by Step is a youth charity operating in the South of England. It accommodates young people at risk of homelessness, as well as offering mental health support and personal development opportunities. Step by Step believes that every young person deserves a safe place to live and the chance of a brighter future.
Where is the money going to come from? Liz Truss proved that we are potless. We need to remove the demand for housing to make it affordable. That means only one thing, removing non- contributing immigrants from the country. Those contributing less than £17,550 per person in tax each year (eg. A family of 4 requires a total tax contribution of £70,200 per year to be economically worthwhile to the UK) ... and a couple earning £100k each would not want to be living in a 3 bed semi.
I note: the Housing Benefit is not enough to only cover 8% of SOCIAL HOUSING. Kinda makes it more crucial that this Gov stops their war on PRS Landlords and starts to recognise the need they provide.
