I actually owned this game back in the day. I played it all the time until i FINALLY reached the last level. After playing the maze for hours i gave up. Never touched it again.
This game has been a 4yr let down…I was excited about this game when I heard about it years ago. Now I’m just over it. After all this time….THIS is what we’re seeing and getting?! What the hell?!
Anytime! Same it's been I swear 8 years since I first heard about the game. From what they got it's pretty fun just needs a bit more polish in some parts.
That would be cool to know. I rented this game almost every summer vacation back then and the maze always stopped me. Even when I did runs on this game I had the map up on my PC so I can quickly see where I needed to go. It's absolutely massive for a nes game and very convoluted to get to CJ and the permit.
Yep, we came here to kill Meio, Nothing about the rebels plot, science experiments, nothing of finding intel, our striders comrades or other collectable bullshit Let's do what we are for, people!
You're Welcome! It was also one of mine. My cousin and I would always rent this during the Summer and we could never beat it. After memorizing the map to that maze for this run I know why now. Such a bs level, haha.
Hey man, I am not I haven't done speedruns in years. Basically though you need to get that scroll that slowly goes down on the screen to fight the boss. It can be on any stage so yeah any% is a huge rng fest. The game loops so after that last boss I kill is the end point that the prior guy did.
Black Manta: Finally, finished my mission after 11 minutes of hiding in walls and the floor. Sensei: Excellent work Manta, the families of the recovered kidnapped children will be so happy. Black Manta: The what?
This game wrecked me as a kid, so it's awesome to see it speedrun. Definitely feels weirdly paced as a speedrun, with lots of boring travel and exploration sequences then _really tight combat moments_ where a lot of skill is required.
Thanks man. Yeah I love SC2, but as a speedrun it was a pretty dry one. I did not stick with it for long. If you are interested on speedrun dot com some guys have made a new route where they get the chmmr avatars way earlier and just decimate the fights that take my cruisers a while to do.
I'm so glad I got to this game actually beat. I always got a game over at the boardwalk. And very well, cause from the looks of it I wouldn't have survived very long in the warehouseafterwards
Solo: Before, I underestimated you, Strider. This time... you will... DIE! Hiryu: I literally don't know who you are. Solo: Well, I am-- Hiryu: Nope, don't care.
