hey bubbo, so this is like totally unrelated to the video or the mob vote, but i was hoping for your advice on something. so, i’m pretty inept when it comes to picking up on hints (both good and bad) when it comes to things, and as of recent i’ve been into this girl. i’ll spare you the backstory, but i ended up going to this play with her a couple days ago, and it seems like it went well. my issue is that due to my ineptness at picking up on hints and stuff, i’m struggling to figure out if she is also entertaining the idea of being with me, or if she went with me just cause she thinks we’re friends. pretty much trying to preemptively figure out if i’m going to be friend-zoned or not. i asked my sister about it, and she said something like “she wouldn’t have said yes if she wasn’t entertaining the idea”, but i feel like she would have if she thought we were just friends yk? i’m just curious what you think about it, cause you have a bit more life experience than me, seems as i’m just about halfway through my junior year of high school right now and you’ve been in your adulthood for a bit now.
First time seeing this. Do more stuff with your viewers I think that's always fun, maybe have a big civilization project going on like SpeedSilver or those other youtubers I really like watching their cinematics. You don't necessarily need to participate in one either, just commentate and spectate. Or have you and your friends vs your viewers type things which I know you've been in some in the past. This would get your community more involved and attract new viewers for sure.
yes, they shouldn't add everything, but justice for moobloom. and I agree, I'm over all the new wood types, give us something new!! I agree they need more purpose and structure to their updates.
as much as I like manhunts, they do get repetitive. I really do like lets play videos where you're just chatting, but I think it'd be neat if you did a hardcore series? or maybe not even hardcore but just like a solo world where you build and stuff. I also like the idea of an smp/server where you just kinda do lets play but with your friends, that would be cool. I know you hate the answer "make what you want" but I personally will watch bubbo content, no matter what it is, as long as there is bubbo content to be had, but I know I am in the minority. just my 2 cents. I know I'm getting to this late, I've been a little busy, but I really look forward to this chatting series :)
I voted penguin because the crab claw seemed useful, sure, but I'm terrible at building and it tends to just be the first few hours of my worlds where I build before I end up in the adventuring era, and wolf armor is cool but its not going to help nearly enough, and penguins actually seem useful in later game for me. Reach could definitely be useful but it sounded like it was only for building and the reach didn't work for anything else like fighting.
i didnt vote this year because i dont really care, i wish they didn't do mob votes because mob votes upset a lot of people i agree with what you said about the fact that they should add something that actually changes the game i really like these videos, i can just put my headphones in on the bus and listen to you chilling and talking about stuff
i heavily agree with the whole "updates should change the game itself, not just inflate the content" thing, minecraft updates beyond 1.16 (which was 3 whole years ago) just feel very.. boring? 1.21 looks super cool, but besides maybe the crafter it doesn't really affect the game as a whole. i'm fine with having "ambient" mobs (like bats), but they need to FEEL ambient. polar bears and such feel like they should be an actual mob, but instead it's just.. there and doesn't do much.
The idea about the Minecraft video with your friends is a good idea. I love the idea of you branching out with your content, like when the rust content started I was so excited because it felt like we're gonna see another side to bubbo. And with the Minecraft content I think it would be fun to explore different servers or other Minecraft content besides just the manhunts(I do enjoy the manhunts your ideas are very creative and entertaining) and the SMP videos sound like a good idea as well. No matter what content you post bubbo I'll watch it because it's always entertaining, whether I'm laughing at everyone goofing around or whether I'm at the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next. And I like your editing style.
I didn't vote, but I were to vote it would have been the crab because it would actually make me think about coming back to the game unlike wolf armor 😑
I think they should make mobs more effective because most of them are boring and they don’t make anything game changing it’s just the same more or less
I agree with you on the armadillo being not "as useful," even if I voted for the penguin myself (I don't really feel the mob votes should be about functionality at all though). EDIT: It is interesting how you talk about how its a good thing that updates are small, then immediately follow it by saying that updates lack game-changing things. I feel like thats a bit of a contradiction (i do agree with you that updates should have a purpose though.)
Well I think the updates don’t need to be HUGE. But rather than adding just a “mob” like bats or polar bears, give them at least some sort of purpose. It just feels like the updates have mobs or blocks. But they lack a purpose. They just fill up the world. The size of the updates are good, they are small, just full of useless stuff
Since bubbo mentioned him having experience with coding/programming what about making your own mods and trolling your friends with them? Also bubbo talks was unexpectedly very enjoyable so you should definitely do alot more of these!
I’m fairly new to Minecraft so I don’t have much experience with mob votes but I’d honestly rather not vote, I’d rather see a mob added with the theme of the update. Ps I voted crab
I think them eliminating one mob and then redoing the vote for the last two is what screws the vote up. The people to watch Minecraft live, actually LIVE, are different from the rest of the community and don’t actually represent everyone. I think the crab would have won otherwise
YES, I HATE THE ALGORITHM TOO. this video was SO REFRESHING. i haven't seen a video like this in so long. I just wanna load up a video and watch a guy play a game sometimes
