Damn, I miss the hair metal scene on the Sunset Strip in the '80s. The Rainbow, The Roxy, Gazzari's the Whisky, The Troubadour. Unlimited sex, drugs and rock & roll. And the WeHo cops were cool about it all because there was no violence, just a lot of young people having nothing but a good time.
Wow. Okay, not every band should play every song. I get the feeling Scott was straining to hear himself over that sloppy bombast coming from his left. That sloppy bombast works with a bluesy, sleazy rock n roll band, but not with the unique sound of an STP composition. Dean's tone works for STP, Slash's works for GNR. Period.
Those guys definitely don't get the credit they truly deserve. I saw them on the power to the people tour and it was awesome and they rocked lakewood amphitheater in atlanta ga and i can't wait to see them again
