Oíd video, but just in case you might read this, I love my Kun Bravo shoulder rests, however, they used to slip off my fiddles. I decided to try some made in the far east, but they weren’t a good replacement, but I noticed that the feet had better spacing, wider I think, so I put the offshore feet on my Kun Bravo rests and NO MORE SLIPPING NONSENSE. I really love my Kun Bravos now.
Not only are you are star, Caitlin...with your beautiful playing....but Johnny Cuomo is brilliant. Rhythms keep the pulse going throughout...and his chord changes add so much colour. Johnny certainly has his finger on the pulse of the feel of the tunes. Brilliant:-)
Such amazing fiddle playing. However,I am really impressed by Jake's playing...by changing the chords from the 'norm'...he adds so much 'colour' and feeling. His rhythms add so much too.Just brilliant. Caitlin's playing has such grace. and style. Really enjoyed this.
Lis Saya was always welcoming and encouraging. Way back when I knew maybe half a dozen tunes, at a session, she would always encourage me by saying, "Mike, why don't you start up a tune." She was ever ready to play. Lovely tune by Colin.
226th listen-view; 16th LIKE posted. Great to see familiar faces, and hearing great tunes popping through the speakers! "CHEERS BEARS!!" I'd heard/learned that last tune as "The Galtee Ranger".
Currently, I have a long standing summer gig doing sound/stage tech work in Port Townsend during time of the FSAF, but maybe when I age out of doing that, I'll finally make it to the FSAF. Wishing I could play bones like James. Lovely set, by the way.
