Me as a writer would be in full on shock if I got to see my characters that I spent so much time writing be made into a show. And getting to meet the characters actors would be surreal.
If that were me and I was confronted by *_faithfully represented and accurately cast_* versions of the characters that had been _living_ *_rent free_* in my head for *many years* I genuinely think I would just straight up lose all my composure and ugly cry. *_How special would a moment like that even be, am I right!?_*
Trying to improve my fashion jargon here. Can someone please explain the references for these costumes? Like what era or where in the world or other examples of what they are inspired by. For instance Alina's blouse reminds me of Regency era (and Mr Darcy 😅) while the suspender trousers are very mid-nineteenth century
Really interesting how Kaz, Jesper and Inej look different depending on the light - with some angles you see mostly Jesper's grin and the rest of his face shrouded in shadow (mischief), with others he looks like he's been fighting to survive. Kaz has the same thing where with the hat tipped low and the Kubrick stare he's definitely a stylish gang lord, with the side angle and more light on his face he's an angry kid looking for retribution. Inej with the lights from below or the side is mysterious, cool and daunting; with the lights from the top her eyes are accentuated and she looks more lost. Cool light work!
