I have a tripod with a hollow center column, there is no screw to attach to. What part do I need? The part just needs to sit in the center column and be able to attach to a camera or head (something that has a 1/4-20 female).

Great to see you posting again! It occurs to me that this could work as a Frugal Crane 3.0, with the DJI Osmo etc. at one end of an expandable painter's pole and the monitor at the other (if a drone isn't an option).
Cool! looks like you are using the USB port on the bottom handle to charge the Osmo, and using the USB port adapter the front of the Osmo to connect to the smartphone. How is the power bank also keeping the smartphone charged or does it last long enough on its own? Looks like this will work for my Osmo Pocket 3. Difference is the OM3 uses peer-to-peer Wi-Fi to connect the smartphone DJI app to the Osmo so both the camera and the smartphone will still have USB or lighting power ports available for the power bank. Yes!!

I think I'd line the inside with something none reflective or maybe paint the inside with a matt black none reflective paint. BUT, do sunshades work? In bright sunlight does it actually work?
