I have a fast Samsung 970 Pro and a 4090 and still see crap LOD pop-in at too close a distance. At max graphics settings with reflections and raytracing, this game makes for great static screenshots but moving around in game with this LOD jank doesn't look so hot.
Its a similar board to mine. The VRM's don't have heatsinks but with the right cooling it can work. You'll be going from 4 cores to 8 cores and that's a massive leap in performance for gaming. The 5700x3d will extend the life of your computer for a number of years. With cinebench it didn't thermal throttle and that's a tough 10+ minute benchmark. I'm happy with my A520 motherboard and 5700x3d now that I put in the proper fans to cool it down.
You just need a cooler that can cool the 5700x3d and you are good to go. This is my cooling solution ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zPf6xMp7kuY.htmlfeature=shared
IT wont thermal throttle if you have decent air flow in your case. The board throttles itself if the vrms are too hot. So you want decent airflow over the motherboard.
Hope this isn’t a dumb ? But I don’t have the new yet” waiting for ps5 release” but can you build as many skyscrapers as you like? Or is it once you build one, it’s done like the old game?
There are signature buildings that can only be build once. When you zone buildings it builds skyscrapers just like the old game. I haven't really build any signature office buildings yet.
I don't think I've ever counterattacked. I like comments like this because previously I wasn't dodging and now I need to improve counter attack. Will look into it.
Hey man awesome gameplay.. quick notes though, the game looks and feels "blurry" maybe you should check that out also give us more commentary!!!! haha, looking forward to your next gameplay, glhf
Not sure what happened to make it blurry. I might have inputted the wrong bitrate. But yea the commentary. Sometimes its like the 9th try at defeating the enemies and I get tired of saying the same thing over and over even though i know it should be said lol
I find that playing the game at the level it is intended too boring and easy. Thats why My combat is so bad I never had to work very hard at it. Like Dodge and having better management of my equipment. I only just started to play at higher levels.
@@SojuJorge Well, I played The Witcher 2 and found it too hard and was afraid of The Witcher 3 being the same. BUT its not the same animal. I guess I didnt dodge effectively in Witcher 2 and easy mode on Witcher 2 was so easy it ruined the fun. I think that Deathmarch would be too hard for me lol But I like the difficulty set to Blood and Broken Bones. I started off with Story and Sword and enjoyed the first 30 hours of it. Then it became too easy so I upped it to Blood and Broken Bones. There are times i want the game to be easy and times i want the game to be challenging so i think picking harder quests when I'm low leveled. On top of that some people here are beating level 34 on level 20. I just have to get a little better at the game.
When they gang up on me I die. I tried many times to just beat them up normally but it didnt work there were 5 or 6 of them ganging up on me. Like I said I am just at level 30 and they are Level 34. If i let them hit me too many times I die pretty easily.
@@campcreekdude1 Ok, this is going to start out rough but stick with me here. This is just about some of the worst combat skill I have ever seen for this game. For starters, you are level 30 and they are level 34. They aren't even 6 or more levels above you, which would put them at red skull (basically insta kill if you're playing on death march and they were to hit you.) Also, you have what looks like witch hunter armor that probably has some monster protection. Remember, when it comes to damage in this game, %'s in categories of damage reduction (slashing, bludgeoning, piercing, monster) are much more important than individual points of armor. If an armor is level 34, a level 35 armor (one point higher) is not as important as the distinction between the percentages of damage it reduces. Keep that in mind, before "upgrading" to a new piece of armor. A new piece of armor might be a dozen levels higher than your current but it means nothing, compared to the percentages of damage reduction. As for your combat, you're rolling around too much, like a loose marble on the deck of a ship that's in the midst of a hurricane. Do you even dodge??? You should be able to dance (dodge) around the enemies. 3-4 enemies around you are nothing, if you learn to dodge effectively. You can do several fast attacks to create distance from the group and push one enemy from the group, before the enemy counters (works well with drowners, ghouls, basic humans) and does their attack against you. Usually you get 3 fast (4 if you are quick and push it) attacks in, before they try and counter you. Press the parry key and, if you time it on their counter attack against you, you will not just avoid their attack with your sword but you get an awesome counter cut. Most people know you can do that against armed humans but have no idea you can do it against monsters and dogs/wolves. (Works with human sized monsters, not enormous monsters.) Also, make sure you level up the Fleet Footed perk. It makes any damage you might receive, while dodging, fully reduced to 0. It's incredibly important for major fights, like with Imlerith. It basically makes that fight a joke. Him swinging his giant mace around (which is incredibly lethal on death march, especially if you don't have armor with high bludgeoning protection) is meaningless and does no damage, if you have fleet footed.
@@campcreekdude1 You need to check your in game controls. I don't play console games so I don't know how the interface looks for you or how many key options there are for you. Anyway, once you figure that out, you need to go back to White Orchard. Reason being, and I'm going to go full Yoda here and write, 'you must unlearn what you have learned.' You need to retrain yourself on combat. To do so, find one of the drowners near the cemetery (near the bridge by the river) and just practice dodging around it. If two spawn, just kill one with your silver sword. Use your steel sword to fight the remaining drowner because, that way, it won't die too quickly. You can practice your dodging and counter attacking, as in timing your parry to get the special counterattack. However, when fighting drowners, remember that they do have a jump attack (and can jump a few body lengths.) This attack is not something you can successfully parry. If you block it with your sword, you will also get stunned. Ultimately, once you feel you've got enough practice with some low level drowners, you should go to the village (near Tomira's hut) that you saved from the ghouls. Near there, in the forest, there are a ton of nekkers. Use your steel sword to fight them for a while and just get used to dodging and parrying in large groups of enemies. Practice throwing in signs and stuff, occasionally, too. Then, and only then, a Witcher will you be. Oh, and you'll notice, when you use the incorrect sword, it will make an off sound that clearly indicates the incorrect sword is being used. Doesn't matter so much, if you play with the health bar up because that makes it obvious which sword should be out, but many of us don't use that because it breaks immersion. Random fact, there a couple spots in game where, after cut scenes, auto draw will incorrectly pull the necessary sword.
Unfortunately there is a bug with replays. I don't know which driver it was introduced in but replays have a little graphic corruption. When I first got it there was no problem. But I just don't watch replays and racing is fine though.
Bro try FSR2 quality or performance (with dynamic resolution scaling OFF) in DX12, the FPS is just huge. FSR2 quality mode holds up very well at graphics when put it against TAUU in DX12 and the FPS is still better, try it.
@@campcreekdude1 but any chance dx11 would perform better in some cases? I mean the stutter can pretty much be fixed with riva tune, so perhaps the problem comes down at the immersive lighting mod for example which was aimed for dx11. even tho with fsr quality, my fps still sinks whenever i step foot in novigrad, it sucks so bad
@@bbssddww_fet I now play with fluid motion frames and it works pretty good. I didnt think Novigrad was that bad for me. It doesnt seem to glitch. I have some gameplay in Novigrad. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e0x1zoI7l5w.htmlfeature=shared
@@campcreekdude1 amd fmf is a joke to me with those fake high frames that just sits there for aesthetic purposes, surprised it worked for you, what's your settings?
@@bbssddww_fet Back then I was playing at one notch below 4K and Ray Traced Shadows off. Ray tracing on Performance. Frame Generation was good on my 144hz monitor. But my 4K monitor is only 60hz I barely notice Frame Generation. Now I have a RX 7900XTX instead of an XT and can play 4K instead of one notch below 4K. Not a huge difference lol. I think i do use ray traced shadows now on my xtx. DX 11 mode may have improved since this video because they made a few patches over the time. I can try it again if you are curious.
Yea on my system I have to turn the browser audio all the way up to hear it. But i do have really good speakers. I once viewed my videos on a laptop and it was hard to hear. In my next video I will try to make my microphone louder.
I have the Prime A520M-K. But with a new video I added an exhaust fan and that allowed for reasonable temperatures at full voltage. I noticed more stability at full voltage than under-volting as well. So I don't recommend it. I just did it to see what happens. You want the full power of the 5700x3d also!
Looks like a pretty good mod. I updated my Mod List to include it. I haven't tested it but it says its enabled on my EPIC CIV VI. 1drv.ms/u/c/6852f0c9be44e035/QTXgRL7J8FIggGhpDAAAAAAAsfOUN2RItnKcyg
yea my reference 7900xt worked pretty good. I upgraded to a Nitro+ 7900xtx with a big cooler and still have similar hotspots (maybe a bit hotter than in this video).
Brother, I have a question, please answer me, if the bluetooth dongle is connected to the gamepad, and then we connect it with a Type-C cable, won't the delay be reduced through the USB of the computer? (If you don't know, try it, let me know if it works please)
In theory it should be faster but I've played with both dongle and usb and don't notice a thing. I prefer to play with usb as I don't need to worry about battery life. But you don't get gyro though usb. It acts as a xbox360 controller.
one more question❤Are you satisfied with the dongle BT 500 you have been using? Does it have no delay? Is the speed similar to the original gamepad dongle?😅
I never played Fortnite with original gamepad dongle but Bluetooth 5.3 is better (than 5.0) as it wont interfere with WIFI network connections. Its always best to get the latest. I did play BOTW before with Bluetooth and didn't experience anything bad.
Yea its best to get the latest version of Bluetooth so you have better compatibility with newer hardware and latest specifications. The price difference is not that huge when jumping Bluetooth versions anyways.
@@shifustrike All Bluetooth are backwards compatible with older models. So get the latest version and it will conform with whatever backwards compatibility you need.
@captain615 Its alright. Its definitely faster to use the stick(when i say stick i mean joystick) but to go in fine adjustments up and down on the screen. I am going to test out fortnight right now to see if it works.
I just got back from a ski trip and saw your questions while i was skiing. You have to have Bluetooth not sure what the minimum version it is for Bluetooth. You have to make your computer recognize your controller as Nintendo Switch Controller. Then you have to program it to use the mouse look using a software called REWASD. You can download it under a trialware to see if you can get it to work. You have to make sure the game is using mouselook or else it wont work.
@@shifustrike I tested Gyro with Doom and got it to work. I emulated the xbox 360 controller and enabled mouselook on the Gyro. Not all games will work like this but it will take me a night to download Fortnite to see if I can get it to work.
@@shifustrike On PlayStation and PC, players can use gyro with the DualShock 4 (PlayStation 4) controller or the DualSense (PlayStation 5) controller. The Gamesir T4 Pro acts as an xbox controller instead of a PS4/PS5 controller when connected to windows. You can emulate the DS4 controller in REWASD or emulate the xbox 360 controller and use mouselook for gyro. I am testing the DS4 emulation with gyro to see if it works.
The A520 motherboard I have doesn't have curve optimizer settings in the bios. Its a cheap motherboard that doesn't support PBO in it either. I solved my heat problems by adding another fan to the case and I don't have to worry about temps.
Thanks, I've been playing the game with my "optimized" settings at 1440p and can experience the high refresh rate experience with AMD Frame Gen On. Basically "optimized" is just GI on performance and no shadow ray tracing. the rest to max. minus hairworks.
@@campcreekdude1 Glad to hear that! Enjoy. I was curious how the 7900XT performs in this game with ray tracing so searched for this video. Performs a lot better than expected. I recently got a 4070 Super and have been really enjoying The Witcher 3 with ray tracing. :)
The 5700x3d does not come with a stock fan. AMD website recommends water-cooling but you can get away with air cooling if you have the right solution. The AMD stock fan is not enough for this processor. I am using a Noctua NH-C14S. Its just so.. so.. for this processor. As you see it hits 79 C in the video (cinebench). I chose a top down cooler because my VRM's don't have heatsinks on the A520 motherboard. There are cheaper and better solutions that are tower coolers if your VRM's have heatsinks. I have not tested gaming yet because I don't have an exhaust fan. Its coming by the end of the week and I will test it again. I believe Gaming won't stress the cpu in the same way as Cinebench and it should be okay what i got. BUT we will see in another gaming video. I have to wait and test. It's only a guess for now. GPU's pump alot of heat lol.
You'll have to update the BIOS for starters. Its a bare minimum motherboard (A520) with a bare minimum cooler AK400. Do you already own the AK400? If you do you could expect 80+ Celsius. Remember it throttles at 90 Celsius. The VRM's are like mine and will get toasty 75+ Celsius. But I have not noticed VRM throttling at that temperature. The video had a 12'ish minute Cinebench Test. My CPU hits 79/80 C with a bare minimum cooler. This is not factoring in a GPU dumping hot air into the case. I don't have an exhaust fan at the moment either and that can change temps. You might be better buying the AK500 if you don't own the AK400 yet. But if you already own the AK400 its probably a bare minimum cooler for this CPU and you can try it...But i feel more comfortable suggesting the AK500 and maybe a better motherboard with HEATSINKS on the VRM if you are currently buying all brand new parts.
Its an old video... I might have speeded it up a bit and used a mic lower than my mouth. Resolve does pitch correction when you speed it up too lol... I did not intentionally auto-tune the vocals with any program.
You'll be interested in this review. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0qTNIiXIoVo.html They cool a 5950x with the Deepcool AK500. My chipset (A520) does not support Curve Optimizers unfortunately. All I can do is create an offset undervolt which impacts performance. Doing the recommended .05 undervolt makes the processor work at a lower frequency. So after the video I just tinkered to a 0.00625 undervolt. The minimum size of undervolt allowed in increments (on my mobo). I still get a 3950/4050mhz boost on all cores. Its a bit cooler by a degree or so. Not much to report. lol There is no support for PBO Curve Optimizers in my bios as it doesn't support it. Thats what you get for a 50 dollar motherboard lol. Edit: I was making a video with it at undervolted by 0.04375 and i noticed instability issues. I returned back to auto voltage instead of an undervolt because i want 24/7 stability.
This video could have been like 40 seconds if i just would have shown the results and not the benchmarks.....lol So zoom to the end of the video to see the comparison.
