Broooooooo the boss with a Nine Inch Nails song literally self destructs. I wonder if that’s an intentional downward spiral reference. Chai kills the other bosses himself except Kale (who has The Perfect Drug by NIN) and Kale kills himself at the end of the fight as well 🤔
The clicks of the cannons in tune to the music is so fucking satisfying. God they picked a great song. I wasn't a huge NIN fan until after this boss fight and reading a bit about their style of music, now I think they're great.
Now that we know that this game probably wont get a sequel since tango gameworks went under this feels even more bittersweet. The perfect ending not only to the game itself but to tango gameworks. What a sendoff 🥹
Dope as shit people transformers haha I’d watch that all day turning into animals wreckin stuff with a beat yes pls just wish the combat was more uh I dunno it’s missing somethin
This is hands down one of the best feel good experience in a videogame I've ever had. The music is perfect, got me in the right mood for fighting, was hitting over 90% in just timing, never got even close to those numbers
at first I had no idea if I would like the game but then the VERY FIRST SONG "Lonely boy" by the black keys started playing and my mind instantly went "AHHHH". however the second NIN started playing with that buildup I fell in love with this game on the spot. while baulders gate 3 deserves GOTY by sheer content and replayability, HiFi rush was my personal game of the year even going as far to say it is now my favorite game of all time.
What happens if you use super moves to break through the Z-shielding? I know certain ones can work (like Double Riff and High Pitch Punch), so I'm curious. Or maybe thats only on certain enemies? 🤔
