Yea man they're great. I got turned onto this tune huge on March 26th 1984. I went to see Night Ranger and Alcatrazz in Reno NV. Blew my mind that night. 21 yr old Yngwie was lighting things up. Then Gillis and Watson came on and proceeded to burn. Good times and good memories. Made me want to practice thousands and thousands of hours on my guitar.
Tears for fears and lover boy? That's a little sketchy bro! 😂😂😂 Good catalog! Of cassette tapes!😂 Love that Charvel!!! I just got the Joe Duplantier model last week! (Gojira)
Bro, that is a really awesome job, with one of my favorite riffs of all time! Gives me chill bumps, every time I hear it! Btw, I think I have identified the guy who stole my tape case back in the 80s. :)
Hey fellow dad here! You look really relaxed when you play! Working on it! 😂 Working on Lightning Strikes by Ozzy. I saw your vid. Any tips brother? Thank you!!!
Thanks man. Definitely relaxed. You gotta be to play that Watson run. It's pretty crazy! Lightning strikes is my fav Jake E Lee solo. Try to Break it into sections. Work on them individually and get them up to tempo. There's a lot going on in that solo. His phrasing and bending is very precise. Killer player. Take your time and get it clean and it'll all come together.
@@TJScarlett really spectacular…I’ve always had special love for it…never heard it on guitar…I might give it go myself now. lol….keep picking & licking …you’re awesome!
I'm sorry your channel hasn't grown much my friend. You are a great guitar player. I've been playing for about 30 years and it almost brings tears to my eyes that as good as you are, most people won't notice. But as long as you're having fun and living your best life, that's all that matters.
