The Arnold Clark Group is the UK’s largest independently owned car retailer, with a proud history and an exciting future.
Founded in 1954, the fledgling business took off from a single-car showroom on Glasgow’s Park Road, given flight by its founder’s simple philosophy: to offer genuine value for money and customer service of the highest level.
Fast forward to present day, and the company continues to flourish; with 200 branches across the country, and selling over 280,000 cars a year. But while Arnold Clark is a name that’s synonymous with vehicle sales, there’s much more to the business than you see on the showroom floor.
There’s also a vehicle rental and fleet management division, with its very own film and TV division, and a fleet of over 5,000 cars. The Group also offers everything that a customer might need for the onward journey, with parts and servicing departments, an accident repairs division, and insurance services.
Sorry its feckin awful styling. There's too much going on with it. Its a horrible "mish mash" of various stripes, strobe lines, weird looking lights and reflectors on the rear end, and a peculiar swage line/crease along the side flanks. It looks like it was designed by several committees that each had to have their own "design idea" included on the final design. 🤢 Oh and it's got an annoying Arnold Clark sticker in the rear window too...😂
Nice review. As a gv60 owner, here’s some things to add: 1. Massaging drivers seat 2. Augmented reality navigation 3. Digital side mirrors zoom in in reverse 4. Big glass roof WITH cover 5. Heads up display 6. V2L - you can plug a coffee machine into your car 7. Free 5 year servicing 8. Concierge service - they pick up the car from your home, service it, and return it 9. Free home charger installed Apologies if any of those dont apply in your country, I’m in Australia
Decent review, you should however understand that the charging RATE is 60kW or 45kW the kWh stated is incorrect, that's a measure of capacity not rate.

For some reason, this made it look cheap. These wrappers and stickers and plastics bags didn’t feel like a protecting layer for the future new user but more like forgotten plastics after assembling the car. Like a reminder that these are just parts put together, loosing sight of the unity and uniqueness and the entirety of the vehicle. That’s the weird feel it gave me, it felt far from an « unboxing » of something exciting 🤓
Most cars will probably lose a lot of value over a decade. And while hydrogen fuel cell cars are certainly a great idea, they've been a great idea for a very long time, and there isn't really an infrastructure in place for them.
It's so that pedestrians can get out of the way without having to hear fake ghost sounds in reverse. He's laughing like a little kid in a candy shop, so it must be fun.
