As someone from more developed society, I speak about you, one thing that catched my attention is about public transport. You are more aware of how system works than average dude in Balkans, we need more awareness. Average Serb see lack of ticket control like: Woo hoo, free rides. But nobody think that GSP and Lasta (transport companies) have to survive from ticket selling and maintenance, pay workers and develop over time, and because of lack of selling the tickets they are paid from budget of city Belgrade. And at the end politicians set some poltron marionete on director position of such companies to make then bankrupt and then sell that companies to someone for cheap money. Now you also know something more about our chaotic land. For me English was not hard language, but trick is that I had it since elementary school, but I hated it during school. Later during highschool I got more interested in music, movies and that way I much faster learned language than during boring classes.
Being angry that the Americans bombed us is not a mentality, but a real reaction. Imagine that you were bombed by the Serbs, that they bombed even the maternity hospital, killed several thousand people, among whom were very small children, that they sowed depleted uranium because of which people died and continue to die from cancer, that they stole a part of you the territory they gave to the immigrants we welcomed to Serbia in the 11th century, and they also built a military base on your territory... Would you be angry? I'm not in favor of attacking every American who comes to Serbia, but I also don't like American arrogance and insensitivity in terms of - we bombed you, killed people, left depleted uranium and took your territory, so what? Years ago, I spent some time in America, I was on both the east and west coasts, and I know your mentality and culture very well. I had the opportunity to stay in America, but I didn't. Thanks but no! I would never live there...
I can recommend a really hilarious Mexican guy living in Serbia over the last seven years or so :) I think it would be great to interview him, if you are interested.
The scene cuts you make don't have a transitions, just put any basic one and let the scene breathe, give it few seconds. For example the scene at 12:02 lasted only 4 seconds, and it looked very nice so i had to pause and rewind to actually see it. I don't have too look at faces ALL of the time, i can listen and watch panoramas or what ever. Also keep in mind a lot of people would only listen to this while doing something else, either on a second monitor or open a different tab and do something elese.
Don't be ashame if you mistake in serbian, we Serbs sometimes misout some word and we laugh to ourselves cause our language is probably really wierd in writing cause we have much words that have fe r, d and t next to each other but when we speak it you cannot hear it and I think our language sounds normal, we have letters like ć, š, ž but I think just in some cases it sounds wierd and when it is it's probably in names of places, we got Rtanj, Vrmdža, Svrljig...Enjoy in Serbia, добро нам дошли😊
Regarding citizenship, you have to leave yours to take the Serbian one, it is not correct. It all depends on whether Serbia has formed reciprocal conditions, that is, having dual citizenship and with some it has signed and with some it has not, for example the right to dual citizenship he signed with Italy while not with Germany.
Lepo a sa druge strane imas kad dode srbi bosanci i hrvati u sloveniju nikako da progovore slovenacki i kad jih zelis naucit odma si nacionalista prije nauce sa dominikanske republike nego sa bivse juge.... Zatvorenici svog egota
I met American lady in Belgrade who lived 4 years in Montenegro , dated my friend, travelled Balkan countries, learnt some of serbian, wrote bloggs etc ..to make long story short it turned she was a spy by nature of her job..she is now in Turkey , same as always very well infiltraded ..some foreigners live in our region because of that reason ..
Lidl iz german store. That's why they have higher prices.Delhaize also isn't from Serbia...Mercator also... Etc. Serbian stores are ruined after bombing...like..for eg. Centroprom.. Etc. Practical all Serbian stores are ruined.
Thanks for your sincere words about Serbia , no society is perfect , but I am pleased you found your place under the sun !!! Good to have you there , cheers !!!
Amazing to see how well these foreigners adapt to the country. But dispite claiming they learned to be direct in conversation, no one of them wants to condemn bombing of Serbia. Just don't talk about it, switch to food, weather, bs. That's not the way.
