No, typically at the beginning of the day for good measure to make sure the ratios will be the same. This is also mainly for after removing the rear manifold or head caps for maintenance. Repriming the pump can be a main when it's bone dry.
Update, I installed my GF metering valve stickers that i purchased and they look great. Have one question. You mention on the video that you can secure the GF handles with a screw. What type of screw? I see where to drill a hole on the handle, but how do you secure it to the plastic body section? Are there any video links to see how it's done? I would like to secure my handle. Mine feels a little lose and I don't want to lose one while driving.
My pavers were installed after I bought this house and sealed 3 different times. 1 after they were installed and then a few months after because it looked like crap and then again a few months after that because the sand washed out. Well it has all failed again and I am handy and could probably do it better myself. I have a couple questions. What kind of sand should I get in tampa fl and after I do the sand should I rent a compactor machine to run over it. Also if I use the wet sand method how long do the pavers need to dry. Pavers are mostly in screened in area around salt water pool. And pavers are concrete. Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated
Impressive,,,,really well done. I’ve been looking at trailers and skids. I’m a carpenter by trade and weld as a hobby. I really should be taking notes and building my own. Great content
Hey man, question.. I tried a half inch barb in where the ball valve was to replace the ball valve and have a better barb. Only problem is it doesn’t seem to fit where the ball valve was. What type of barb are you using for that? I have an older ar-45 model so I need to find the correct barb that will fit.
Hey man, the barb size is going to be dependent on whatever output hose you are using to the hose reel. As far as the threads go, the piece that goes into that outlet manifold has the two green O-rings on it and then a female threaded portion. Typically those threads are quarter inch or 3/8 inch. Therefore, you would need to get an adapter that goes from 3/8 to half inch and then run your regular hose from there
Then there’s an issue with your plumbing on the soap line. Assuming everything else was followed in the video And the pump runs perfectly on water usage.
@@josephdufresne2942 North Georgia airless would be able to help you out with that if they are able to ship to California I prefer to only do local transactions when it comes to equipment like that
I am considering setting up a pressure washing trailer and would greatly appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide. Your expertise online would be invaluable in helping me navigate the process. Thank you in advance for your time.
Customer provided 4 manual reels and we matched it to make everything look good. On my channel I have an unboxing between the two brands. They’re identical, pretty much same price and perform the same. It all comes down to what your stores stock and what you can get your hands on. I have 6 reels on my truck and 4 of them are titan
It’s so amazing how similar our paths are! Like you, I’m a veteran, I was an S&C coach, and now I’m in the PW industry! Much success to you on your journey! What an inspiration you are!
So we built this one custom for a customer! But we are able to build and sell this trailer. Identical to this one would run around $48-52k depending on the amount of electric reels. 4 manual reels / 4 electric would be at $48. 8 Electric would be at $52. We can also add / remove anything you'd like!
I’m a carpenter by trade but have been eye balling a used 2013 F350 diesel with a aluminum flatbed and plow on it. I envision / fantasize about turning it into a soft wash truck. Thanks for your service 👍🇺🇸
Why does my ar 45 have a valve on the supply to reel and yours doesn’t? Im trying to install mine and that valve is in the way because i need that yellow hose to go upwards.
I got rid of it, it’s a major flow restriction and it’s not necessary for our industry. You can remove it! Then just get a 3/8” male pipe thread x 3/4 or 1/2” barb for your output hose to the reel! North Georgia airless also has these adapters in stock!
Very minimal, but it definitely works. This build was a bigger headache than any other one I’ve done. Due to minimal room to move around and get things installed.
@@michaelc7283 that’s the point of these videos, is to try and give people ideas of what can and can’t work! Stay tuned for one of the more recent builds, aluminum flatbed and 2 8gpms 😮💨
Yes, pavers do need regular maintenance! They're highly pushed as a "luxury" but require upkeep. This is a worst case scenario shown in the video! Not all paver projects are like this.
What’s the strip material you use I’ve used the cobble strip from surface logic and haven’t had good luck with it still white haze marks after the cleaning.
Depends on multiple variables in order to achieve an accurate price. In our region we see from $1.50 to $1.85 for most “new install” not previously sealed pavers. Any job that has been previously sealed requires in person testing, examination and other necessary information before deciding if it’s something we want to take on and then at that point we can provide pricing. Typically those start at the higher $2.75 per square foot and go up from there. In some situations the pavers will have to be replaced. *highly uncommon*
Hydroseal 1/2” threaded ball valve with a 1/2” Mosmatic swivel. Amazon sells the ball valve. Kleen rite sells the swivel Let me know if you have any other questions!
It reduces flow quite a bit. I HIGHLY recommend removing it. It’s the same exact process, all you do is take the black plastic piece off and keep the valve open when priming.
