Cool video man! Would like to see you do exhaust or coilovers next! Maybe a shade of blue wrap? Or green? Lol idk but keep videos going man love the RS5!
Man! great rims and spoiler extension! Wanting to get an extension for my RS5 just undecided about which style to go with, this looks great though! Cool vid!
This vehicle definitely embodies one of Audi’s finest moments in producing a well balanced sport offering. It looks great, has one of sweetest engine notes, AWD and offers day to day practicality. In the video it was mentioned that the suspension has adaptive dampers. I was under the impression that the NA market got none adaptive dampers while rest of world received the adaptive dampers.
What generation S4? I had a 2010 with just a stage one tune on stock everything and it was just as fast as these RS5s. The reason is because the supercharged V6 made 50hp less but 50lbs torque more and the torque came in early and had a flat curve and that’s with the conservative Stasis tune I had. Dual pulley cars are faster than RS5s. That being said they don’t sound like this beautiful 8500rpm singing V8. The sound of these cars is incredible and with exhaust they’re even better. Also the 2 doors without window sills is great too! Can’t really go wrong with either but the S4 after market is bigger than for this 4.2. Unless you boost the 4.2 but that’s a lot of dough.
@@ivancliff2514 2014 S4, and yah I feel like the 3.0T is a good happy middle. Not paying v8 gas prices but still keeping up if not beating the v8s out there. Also downshifting in 4-3 and 3-2 in this thing sounds close to a v8 which is pretty dope. But yah the RS5 is a sweet car, imo if much prefer the A7/S7 as it’s a 4 door with the sileless doors and has a hatch and spoiler. Honestly an A7 competition or A7 will definitely be my next car. Just love the looks and curves on it
@@S4Tony3.0T Yeah man. I had the Stasis exhaust on mine (it was actually a factory stage 1 package) and the downshifts were quite nice. Now that I think an out it I had the mid pipes too so I guess it wasn’t totally stock. If you haven’t yet tune your whip man. I intend to tune my new one once the warranty is up too. And yeah my dream Audi is an RS6 avant but the RS7 is a close second.
I did the mid muffler delete with an H-pipe. Calm when daily driving but gets super aggressive when you get into it. Also, brembo’s from a Tow n Go or SRT Jeep or Durango will bolt right up.
I hope you left a bad review. Unfortunately, the only way people learn is when something negative happens. Left unchecked, these kind of people will continue to screw over honest people whose dreams get shattered after they get screwed over. I, for one, am tired of it. I got burned once and not again.
the only power mods I would go for is Eventuri Carbon Fibre intake. Really healthy gains and sounds truly amazing. The designer and inventor of reverse cones used to work high up in Dyson! pricey but worth it. Great choice!
@@BlkSTIG thanks bro! I think I will eventually, but I don’t mind the black with the RS logo. When I do a full colour change next year, I’ll probably also do the callipers.
the rubber trim around the wheels and along the body (ez flares?) / question is, in winter do you think snow and ice build up could compromise the 3m tape holding it on? thanks in advance for your thoughts.
I usually put it in comfort mode untill the engine warms up and then i shift it into dynamic, all you need is a sports exhaust and its plenty loud, snapping peooles necks in second gear but if you want it louder go ahead and get a capristo exhaust
Awesome video man! This car is just all around great car with an engine to die for haha! I have a very similar spec 2013 RS5 Daytona gray, so this really hit home! I would recommend a ECS X-pipe i personally dont have one(custom h-pipe for me), but they sound amazing and really open the noises up with acceleration and downshifts and most bang for buck! If you decide to get a tune i would recommend the JHM stage 2 ecu and tcu tunes which i have an really wakes the car up! You will not be disappointed! I'm excited to see your build for your car! So please do not stop making videos of it!!
Thanks so much for the kind words and excellent suggestions! I will absolutely keep making videos on the build, will have a new video in a day or two and I will look into your suggestions for sure! Thank you!
Hell yeah Great pick up! These cars age like fine wine and you're getting the last of a gem. Hold onto as these will be relics of the past. On my second Audi now. B8 S4 now B9 S4.
