Did you like the make up remover? I was very pleasantly surprised although i forget every time i use it, i forget that there’s a round plastic thing on it and get all aggro about getting the product out. Idk why i keep putting it back on. Btw I noticed with this box that my first choice had like 4 or 5 things I wanted while the 2nd and 3rd had nothing I wanted. And neither of my “power picks” were actually listed under their power picks. So at least you didn’t get random stuff they had sitting around 😂
Omg that little plastic thing!! I threw it out last night lol it’s weirdly hard to get off. I do like the makeup remover tho! It seems to get my eye makeup off easier than the micellar water. Very much luck of the draw with those power picks (I’ve definitely had months where I felt like I got old leftovers). And yes now that you say that I remember specifically with April picks there was at least one choice items box that I struggled to pick something. Really going to try to take a few months off and just cycle through my own collection for a bit
Good morning indeed lol. We got the same power picks. The Lunar blush pallet was available in add ons for me but I resisted. I do like first aid beauty but I don’t have oily skin and I’ve gotten sooooo many cleansers the last few months. I’m skipping next month as well. I gifted the palette lol. The best about my box choices and add ons were the Kayali fragrances. 1 choice I picked and added 2. My FFF is getting me a Vacation perfume so I’m set for fragrances for years lmbo. I also don’t use retinol during the summer for those reasons. I’m so sensitive to it anyway. Last month I added on the KOSAS Revealer Concealer in 1.5C but like the Yensa concealer…I haven’t opened either of them. I got too tanned on my trip to Mexico. I totally understand about the subscriptions and bills. Everything keeps going up too. I need to reevaluate my budget. Take care Jamie. I look forward to your next video

I store my everyday makeup in a large makeup bag so I can tote it around if I need to. Every month I swap out eyeshadows, blush, foundation, but I tend to use up eyeliners, mascaras, and primers. It makes it so your makeup does not get boring if you use the same every day. Lip products I swap daily based on my outfit, but I have about 20 in a smaller makeup bag and when I use one up, I toss a new one in.
That’s awesome! Sounds like you do a great job of shopping your stash and swapping things out often. I agree some products are just easier to use up (primers, mascaras etc) and don’t really need to be rotated. And by the end of the week we have 20 lip products in our purses 😂

I am realizing now that I think I am allergic to dairy! It may have caused SO many horrible symptoms that I had no idea! Bad sleep, anxiety, depression, tense muscles, chronic fatigue, not being able to think clearly! Not to mention bloating and not so clear skin! Omgosh I’m realizing it all now !!!!!! I’m going to quit dairy and I hope it changes my life 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Wow you had quite a few products j. I’ve been trying more skin care lately. Mostly because I’ve run out of just basics I’m on an “ordinary brand” kick. The serum with the niacidimide. Not sure how to spell it. Lol😅. Plus the eye cream gel. The serum let me tell you has gotten rid of some texture I had on my chin. Almost completely. Plus this brand is so affordable. You weren’t kidding about the urban decay spray. Even in our hot weather in tx… it still dries out my face!!! I put it up and only use when I’m gonna be outside. Good video j

Yes you’re 100% right after a declutter I feel very accomplished. Right now my closet doesn’t look too bad but I need to start putting up all my long sleeve tops and warmups. Mine are stored under my clothes that hang There’s a long board that goes across another bottom where clothes hang. I hate it but it hides all my winter clothes plus in our over 100 degree summers last thing I wanna see is long sleeve 🥵 😂. What I really need to declutter is my alex drawer I keep in there with just too much junk. Just not organized and I never throw out sample sizes of skincare for traveling. Just too many Great video j and I really do love your closet. You can see everything 😊
Such a good feeling when you can see everything better and you know everything you have fits and is a fav! That is the one thing I wish I’d done with my closet. To have a place to swap out the summer for the winter clothes would be really nice. Especially since the winter stuff takes up so much room. Oh well summer is short for us lol!! Do you think you could rejig your closet to make it more functional? Sometimes we have to get creative lol! And I know what you mean about the Alex drawers, they get plugged up so fast! I’d get more use out of them. I have one already that my mom gave me and fits perfect. Girl those drawers are full 😆. Plus I have lots of jewelry that I keep in my closet too
I need to declutter and here for some inspiration. I own only 1 white shirt and it’s a men’s that I only wear to sleep lol. I work in a shop and use tools so most of my wardrobe consists of sweaters, T-shirt’s and sweat pants cause most things get stained or snagged quickly. But because I’m going to Mexico (finally…next month on April 6!!!!) I now own dressed & bathing suits lol. I need room to hang the dresses so I continue to wear them if I see them better. I’m packing in my daughter’s old room so I don’t forget anything, since there’s so much room in there. Being an empty nester and having 2 empty rooms is hard for me not to turn one into my own beauty room haha. Also, being 5’8.5”I totally understand how short things can be in the legs or arms. And yeah…why aren’t inside bands held in place better? I shouldn’t have to sew new cloths correctly lol. Also, we all have our insecurities but as long as you’re comfortable, that’s what matters. You declutterred a lot and it totally makes a difference. I look forward to your next video. Take care

@@TheBeautyExpert 😂 tall girl problems. I use to have 34” legs with a 26” waist and could never find jeans that fit so they had to be baggy. I’d love the beauty room/spare room idea if and when I move. I need to save money and help my daughter through college so I’m on the hunt for a smaller place to rent or buy. Real estate market for each is ridiculous. I don’t want roommates but I may have to consider it. Lots of life changes happening for the last year and continuing
I’ve always had the hardest time with jeans!! Omg you are definitely in a transition period in your life. I know what the housing market is like here, I’m sure it’s even crazier where you are. I’m not envious that you’re having to deal with all that.
I get frustrated when I see this because you are so young and you don’t need this. I wish I had sent one back a long time ago it’s just a arduous and it doesn’t really work unless you have two of them and you really are committed you might see a difference if you’re in your safe 30s 40s early very early 50s

You know I took a break from boxy j. I still have so much put up. Slowly I’m taking out a few things out each month. I do miss seeing what I would get each time but again I just have too much. Now when I need extras on basics I mostly buy drugstore. Plus my credit card bill has gone down tremendously 😂😂😂. But…..you did get a great box. I loved everything especially the palette. I have watched for awhile now and like you I have received Boxycharm x Ipsy. I just received my Icon box and was about ready to cancel my membership and do other things on my channel. I however really enjoyed my Icon box and did think there was value for money so now I don't want to cancel that membership lol. I also work at another job and as a Canadian RU-vidr find it so hard sometimes to gain subscribers and post on a regular basis but still love makeup and enjoy you tube! I will be here for whatever comes in the future! I think people will always come back if they align with your personality! Excited whatever you are working on and cannot wait to see and hear what that is!
