Mine is already hollowed out and I have the same a/f screw as you, I can’t get it to go up in and if I put it beside the carb looks like it’s too long and then end will stick up out how did you put your new screw in
Kody Pangallo Make sure the spring and rubber grommet are taken out from the original a/f screw mine just screwed in when I put the bottom plate on no issues.
Just got an 04.. ordered a new screw because the one I had was a super stiff spring and the rubber grommet wasn’t fitting in.. any suggestions on what to do
+beto zamora Btw forgot to ask, how did you remove it? The mufflers and is it safe to have the end in the bottom of the vehicle rather than it protruding out of the back of it like it is on almost every vehicle?
Hey there, I have an 07 G35x as well. I would like to do a muffler delete. If I were to bring it to a shop and ask them to do it, would they have the pipe and everything to install the tips back on. Because you seem to not have the pipes right now. How much would it cost me roughly?
Sounds good to me! I'm stuck between getting a C250, 328i or a Q50 and this engine is really potent! How is your fuel economy? I don't really want shitty fuel economy because of LA's stupid traffic.
Since its a AWD, im getting 19mpg on long drives I get around 24mpg I mostly drive highway. I feel your pain CA gas prices are crazy plus its needs premium gas traffic aint that bad here up state. But the Q50 such a beautiful car
AWD getting that is pretty decent actually. Our "premium" aka 91 is laughed at by out of staters who roll with that as the cheap gas. I wish we had that Texas gas where Sunoco fills you up with 93/95! But I got a station down the street with 91 at 4.27/gal as of today.
