yep that totally right , was the first time i had seen the video so my reaction was that then i realized after it was not possible but i was not going to do a scripted reaction video. Thanks for watching
Thanks for this follow up, I was wondering whether to get a 4 pack and use two in our caravan but like you say they are limited and discoverable, thinking of hiding fairly one easy to find and one in almost the same location but stashed inside the wall paneling much harder to find and near the back of the caravan as you suggested, interesting that it doesn't ping strangers (non owners ) phones too quickly which makes it worth having. Also found this guys video to remove the speaker to make it more thief proof as they won't be able to hear it !!! have you tried this ? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cB9ukX5_tp8.htmlsi=tbfe4H9yrB3tGcWx
Hey thanks for watching , i think its a cheap and easy way to at least give yourself a piece of mind that you may be able to recover the vehicle quickly after its stolen but as the time ticks by its probably going to get discovered. if i was stealing caravans id probably use an android phone with tracker detect and scan the vehicle prior to stealing it, but that may be just enough to deter someone. They are a very handy device and i use them almost daily
Es una toyota bandeirante ( land cruiser brasilera ) motor mercedes benz con turbo probablemente el om 314 al que le colocaron un turbo. Tengo una igual del año 87 modelo crew cab ( cabine dupla)
Excellent video and just ordered DRS2 for my Jayco outback like yours👍 over the last year I’ve been keeping front hatch closed up to test if DRS2 will go in hatch spot and have decided to go ahead and do same as you. Thanks for posting up
no problems , thanks for watching :) we just came back from central OZ , into Finke, Mt dare and out via Oodnadatta the DRS did really well. The dust only seemed to defeat the curved bunk windows in the corner on both, but with a bit of vasaline on the seals of windows it was not a problem anymore. Where you headed ?
I emailed BMPro with a query & they emailed me a link to FAQs which did not answer my question. I have a JHub system that won’t charge & they can’t or won’t help
i just made up my own false floor and made two full length drawers , the patrol stays as a two seater plus our 3 year pup enjoys the full space@@boxandtravel
unfortunately the inderflate does not save multiple pressures, i can go from airbag pressure, to caravan, to car with out having to remember a thing. I also set front to rear at a different PSI... Plus i did think about getting this type of set up but surely those hoses can get out of control and knotted up etc. I do like the Inderflate product and idea but it does not suit my needs at the moment
@@boxandtravelexactly. Given it’s at least ten years old seemingly unchanged it’s well and truly due for an update. At least a factory fitted Anderson plug, I know they say fitting one won’t void your warranty but not everyone wants to be rewiring a new appliance.
I love how professional and helpful the video is, I just saw my o ring was looking a bit shredded and was going to go with the shell be right attitude, but I could smell a bit of gas so decided to look it up and came across this video which helps allot!
Quite a few people on the forums do use them and claim to get some great results. I have built a remote for my oven so i can maximize the pre heat when driving. Have you got a TB?
It’s a shame , if car is running you get good results as voltage is high but once your running just off battery it’s not the best for any travel oven. If I’m cooking I do it while traveling ,pies, donuts, roasts etc
Ok.. question from west Virginia... will this oven work off a car lighter/power port, like a lunchbox cooker ? Or does this use too much power and need to be ran directly from the battery source? And how long do you think it would run with a 100ah 12v lithium iron phosphate battery?
Hey mate , some of these come with a cigarette socket but they just don’t last and everyone changes them to an Anderson plug .. I run mine off the 2nd battery and get best performance out of it when the car is running as the higher voltage makes it heat better . You can install a voltage converter to you 2nd battery overcome this. Yep will run off 100ah and I’d bank on it pulling 15-20 amps when doing calculations but it will drop lower once temp reached.
Good job mate. Does this iteration of the Kickass oven have venting holes to let excessive steam build up out? There was a bad comment of Kickass ovens in ur Kings oven review a year ago, claiming that it did not have any vent holes in the door like the others & therefore was not able to makes ur chips crisp. I do like the digital temp guage & the light idea, but the light should definitely be recessed & maybe even switched. Cheers
Kings oven element died after 7 months but they replaced with new oven .It would not seem too difficult to replace the element but would like to find a video on how to do this .
HI thats great of them to replace, i assume you want a video so you can do it yourself ? if not feel free to mail it to me and ill pull it apart and post my findings
@@boxandtravel I will consider this will keep you posted .Iwill look into whether a better Quality long lasting element is available .Also be interesting to know how long the travel buddy ovens last is used regularly
@@boxandtravel Suspension components and anything bolted too it, would bend and break before you done anything bad to the chassis. Chassis are designed to flex otherwise they would snap. Saying this. Torquing the absolute fuck out of it like this all the time isnt good for it.
