I love this. Just what do I do with this configuration? What’s its shape & how many bonds does it form? It’s missing 3 elections? Can we just look and see its d-shape bonds in triangle? Or something like that?

Clear video! I was wondering whether you could extract a larger number of gas particles from the liquid in partial vacuum (at let’s say 0.5 atm) by increasing the volume of the gas part in the container?

I don’t get how 4.75 magically appeared and I have looked at the comments but still not useful because how do u calculate the pH to be 4.75 without looking it up 😫

Thanks for the great lecture. I have a question. I understand that for the surroundings if the heat transfer is reversible then dS=Q/T which is what you've done here. But, why is it that if I take another approach and consider air to be either an ideal gas (or even an incompressible fluid) because there is no temperature and pressure change the formulas for entropy change give me a zero? Delta Sair= Integral CvdT/T+RLn v2/v1? Hence, I don't think we can assume the heat transfer to be reversible and ebtropy change cannot be equal to Qirre/Tair

Thats why you do the chemical equation, to determine how many MOLs are in each side of the equation, and you adjust accordingly based on what you find...but beware if its twice Molarity it will also affect the solubility constant equation, as well as the final MOL amount.

The pH can also be calculated straight from the number of moles in the equilibrium instead of converting it back to its molarity. So long as they both have the same unit of moles. Thank you for your help.
