Damn !!! I watched this video 15 years ago, after my graduation, marriage and had the children, the video is still there. With my deep respect, I just would like to say : Long Live CCCP !!! Long Live Russia. From Vietnam with Love. Thanks for rescuing the World from Germany Fascist.
Used to enjoy watching this video. Now I cant help but to wonder how many of these vehicles ended up as rusting trash on the battlefield in Ukraine. So stupid and wasteful , should've stayed home.
Greetings from Germany
Against all odds we stood united, and fell divided. A hard lesson that apparently wasn't learned yet in full by all Russian people, but just some of us.
@@alexm566 What change? You think those are Russia's only military conflicts ever? By the way, you forgot the Russian military intervention in Syria since 2015.
CON ESE ENORME EJERCITO MASIVO BIEN ARMADO Y LA URSS COLAPSA !!!!! ESO NUNCA LO VOY A PODER ENTENDER Y MENOS COMPRENDER NI YO NI NADIE EN ESTE PLANETA !!!!
we lost our enemy, and we lost our way. tho the USSR was built on lies and slaughter, you must admit they had national pride and purpose. consumerism is a terrible replacement. note: i'm a canuck.
Actually the peak was in the mid 70s probably...before the economic stagnation set in (indeed Soviet economy was growing quicker than west until about 1973 but started from a far lower base), before Afghan war, and finally the collapse, USA was also humiliated at the time after Vietnam and would soon take an economic hit (although end up recovering within a few years), also USSR at that time probably had more allies around the world than before or after. Though Putin may not recover actual territory, if he wins in Ukraine some of Russia's power/influence will be restored above and beyond pre-invasion, especially once the countries applying sanctions get pressure to lift sanctions to help their own economies.
