Kobe and MJ game.was so nice to watch, the drives, baseline fadeaway, spot up shooting, post moves and most importantly, clutch shooting being doubled team. LBJ only has one move, the bully ball drive to the rim...Too bad Lebron's jump shot looks fugly...
This is exactly how the development went. Dumb decisions without realizing the consequences and the funniest thing is he never knew the implications until people on x pointed it out. Imagine a work team that can’t notice these things, you’re telling me no one ever warned him about this.
This is a prime example as to why in my humble opinion Kobe Bean Bryant is the greatest basketball player of all time. May God bless all the souls that parish that day on the helicopter. And may he give strength and comfort all their loved ones they left behind
The GOAT debate causes people to start discounting what greats have done. MJ, BIRD, MAGIC, LBJ, Kobe…it’s best to recognize that each of these players contain an arsenal to each their own. Kobe’s is the most dynamic imo.
My mom used to clean his house, his wife had just passed not that long ago at the time and I remember playing on his piano and eating is whipped cream, he gave me basketball cards as well, a really kind and genuine man
I was 12 when this game happened. I remember watching the highlights the day after in complete amazement. Moments like these are why Kobe will always be special in my eyes.
I 100% stand by saying with the way he was playing towards the end of this season they had a freaking chance man, he cooked everybody in the final stretch to get them into the playoffs not to mention first round would have been the spurs and knowing kobe he would have cooked Ginobili AGAIN
Coach Fish...what a genius. This guy got me believing in the Magic of college basketball...and what a momentum shift.. San Diego live forever. Go Aztecs
Russell is the greatest psychological team player, Wilt Chamberlain greatest single player of all time the REAL (OG) G.O.A.T. with 60+ records still unbroken to this day
In hindsight for the Lobos this was a game they didn’t recover from Yes they still won the conference tournament but you win this game and maybe you get higher seeding. Several 6 seeds like UNC and Dayton could’ve made deep runs if things went their way, and Baylor made the sweet 16. The team fell into mediocrity under Craig Neal and haven’t made a return to March since
