I met your father in Tucson when he presented me with my certificate for Let's make professional jewelry! He is such an inspiration to me and so many others! Thanks for sharing!

Italy especially Venica has been huge in the glass world since the middle ages. Old nobles just had to have venetian glass because of the status of it.
Demented. 💀dude saying you can do it yourself to the viewer and "all you have to do" while explaining how to do literally one of the hardest art forms is demented
Glass Blowing can definitely be a challenging art-form and in no way are we trying to demean how difficult and frustrating the process is, but our goal here at Revere Glass is to share these different techniques to make it more accessible to those that want to learn! Regardless, I appreciate the feedback!
You can get a longer demonstration of the technique online this is a 30 sec clip he had to condense to. As an artist myself I get it. he is hitting the key points to get the desired effect. The only thing he is missing is a commonsense kind of thing, make sure to get all the air out of it while you are making it into a stringer. I enjoy the videos he puts out. I get to see a lot of different stuff. Back in the early days other artists used to hide their techniques. I would walk into the shop and they would all turn their backs to block the torch from view. They left me alone in another room and I was able to come up with my own ways to make things work. Coating the "crayon" colors in clear when making them into solid color cane so they could use it on surface work without it bubblin the color. @revereglass doing the profession proud.
Gotten how to place murrine cane, and encase coins, but would love a video or demo on how the pros do it!(: you’ve really inspired me to start and helped alleviate some of the intimidating aspects, much love n respect from vacaville(:
150 dollars for a metal pipe? Insane to charge that much. I'm a metalworker/welder and you could build a 30 feet long pipeline for that money. In stainless just like the blowtube.
