The British take on dub reggae is there. Yes, PiL did loads of this, the Clash and the Slits et al did their take on reggae. But this was somehow relegated to a B-Side. Who knows what would have come of William Broad and Tony James before they became Billy Idol and the guy in Sigue Sigue Sputnick?
Seconded. Proud to be have been a fan since The Human Menagerie was released, & still have the original vinyl. A great songwriter & performer, till the very end, will be sadly missed.
This was always one of my all time favourite songs, and I just saw the music video for it for the first time yesterday. It's a brilliant video. Thanks Deus.
