I have three USB ports on the laptop. If I'm running this much stuff on the computer, including the RCA to HDMI converter power to laptop usb port, I definitely need to have my underfan plugged in (via USB port on the computer) or my computer will overheat and crash, and also need to use one of the ports for the mouse, which means I already am using all three usb ports on the laptop before I can even plug in the signal input usb end. Basically I need four usb inputs for this method, and only have three. I know you said the RCA to HDMI converter can be plugged in externally for power, but that means you have to buy yet another item you haven't mentioned which is a USB power strip, which I don't have. I would be OK buying one, but it is another step and another expense.
You can always buy a USB splitter to give you more USB ports (those are less than $10). Also you just need a USB wall brick if you wanted to plug it into a wall outlet vs. a USB on your computer. I would think you would already have a wall brick from your smart phone charger, etc., but maybe not. I plug all items into my computer. I only have 2 usb ports as well but I have a type C input, and thus I use a Type C to USB adapter which gives me 4 extra USB ports. Running all items shown in the video on my computer uses less than 1% CPU (I have a HP Zbook with an i7 processor). Before I used to do this on a cheap HP with a i3 processor. . . it used about 10-12% CPU. OBS will show you how much CPU you are consuming in the lower right corner of the screen.
I have a larger than normal head, most snap hats either don’t fit me at all or I have to use one of the last two snaps, which looks bad and they come unsnapped easily. Curious if this hat fits like most snap hats or if it is slightly oversized in your opinion?
Hi Jack. So I am on the opposite side. . . I have a rather small head. What tends to happen with me is the crown is always way too high on my head. This cap fit me pretty well and the snaps are nice and snug. If you are looking for a Texas State cap, the best I have found was sold at Bare Foot Campus Outfitter in San Marcos and the maker of the cap was "Legacy". Bare Foot has a website but not sure if all of their caps are make by Legacy or not. - barefootcampusoutfitter.com/caps-hats-shop-clothing-apparel/
@@UnboxingJumble thanks for the advice! I was actually looking to get a fishing hat from this company that happened to use the same base hat as the one in your video, they just stick a fish patch on it. 9/10 snap hats in stores don’t fit me. I may hit up Academy to see if they have any hats from this manufacturer before ordering. Thanks again
I can see that the solar panels do not running the pump after battery is exhausted. I have the same issue with mine. After overnight use the battery is drained and the solar panels are unable to fully recharge the battery during a sunny day. It should be just program to shut off until its either fully charge or half charge. I wish there was a water proof port to access and fast charge by usb, or better yet a wireless charger to keep the unit water tight.
Thanks for creating this video, i was thinking about getting this charger and i bought it yesterday due this video... I'm hoping it doesn't damage my battery health 😊
These things are really a joke. They do NOT keep a reliable satellite signal. I've had one since before US sales. They constantly lose signal and when it re-connects it beeps scaring the dog over and over thinking he is about to be corrected. Don't waster your money!!!!
Hi from NZ. Thanks for the very helpful video. I have a Philips VCR (model: DVP3200v/75). The manual says in can play the NTSC format. I am trying to copy to my Win11 PC all my old tapes from the USA. Everyting is working as you suggested and I am getting audio but the video is only displaying as a blue screen? Any idea as to where my problem is.
@@UnboxingJumble Yes. I have also tried a connection directly to my TV with the RCA cables and also to a monitor. Same result - Audio good and blue screen.
This is very decorative but not practical to feed humming birds how are you scrubbing inside of those balls? It is a mold grower meant to kill the birds!
These companies must've forgotten how we have to clean the feeders or we kill the birds? This looks super difficult to clean. Such a small hole 😮 I'll pass. I look for easy to clean hummingbird feeders that are adorable. This one is cute but again will grow bacteria and hurt the hummingbird as HOW do you clean it well? No need to reply i dont check those anyway
I have a hanging cup that you fill with water, then it has a hook at the bottom to hang the feeders. Works well for ants. Doesn't do anything for wasps
Yes it can be disassembled and moved/re-used. It is kind of flimsy but mine has been out for about 3 months now and made it thru some serious weather with no issues. I have mandevilla planted around mind (hoping it will eventually cover it).
Thanks for this video! I've done some VHS digitization years ago with older converting tools, and had to have special software - so nice that we can use OBS now - I use that for creating my yt content so I'm glad you used it in your example!
Those aren't dummy proof though... there is a risk to kill your trees. I killed a few of mine with these. Stake them a little too close... I feel very stupid now... Not worth the risk.
That is really a personal preference thing. . . but I am like you. I did not want the tactical version (just not into the military features), and I actually liked the graphite color better than black. I find the grey easy to match and hides scratches better. I had it on the Instinct 1 and 2, no complaints it is my color of choice. Hope that helps, good luck!
That is OUTSTANDING! Thank you very much for uploading this… I didn’t even realise that COLOUR Low Light/Night Vision was available… & the quality was simply astonishing, given how little light there was at the time you recorded the night shots. I am definitely going to check out this product, though I suspect that the price will be prohibitive….. THANKS AGAIN. Ps. Have you tried these out on the Night Sky, to see whether they have any useful application in picking out or enhancing “Deep Sky” objects that are just below or borderline Magnitude visibility with the Naked Eye?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the reply… I’m actually ASTONISHED at the affordability of these… What a bargain! Unfortunately, I live in the U.K. & the Amazon link you kindly posted says they don’t ship to the U.K. However, I do have friends in the US, so I may ask them to purchase on my behalf, after I’ve transferred them the funds. Meantime, I’ll check out your video on the “500” version of these too - though I imagine that it’s a less capable model? Thanks again. 🤝
@@the5thmusketeer215 Thanks for the nice comment, glad the video helped. These are a huge upgrade over the 500 version. The internal battery and color night vision alone make them better (not to mention they are much easier to use). This company is out of Australia, not sure if you can order directly from them or not (with shipping to the U.K.). Cheers! - mypetcommand.com/products/ir-night-vision-goggles-binoculars-with-color-viewing-4k-video
Hello, I have a question. Since I want to buy that charger. But I have the doubt if it damages the capacity of the battery. Could you tell me if the battery was damaged?
I have yet to use the external solar panel, and I have yet to have to plug in and charge the feeder (other than when I first got it). I basically got it. . . fully charged the camera, put it out just using the attached solar panels and it has powered itself since then. I get 30-100 triggers per day solar panel keeps it charged.
it seems that these cameras are same or identical to cameras used in other brands, for example Solium Hummingbird feeder from China has the same app & camera. So it's like one camera maker w/app developer all in one and then re-branded to a ton of different sub-brands of feeder systems. So crazy but I immediately recognized the App features but a different app branding. Someone really knows how to market these things over there and can demand a very large pricing model. All these camera feeder systems seem to be from China, which have dominated the marketplace. I could be totally wrong and there could be other camera feeder systems that I'm missing.
I feel like the options for a RELIABLE solar fountain are pretty limited. I really think a car battery solar charger, 12v pump, and a small car/motorcycle battery would be the correct way to do it. Obviously that will be more expensive, but if you get some junk it doesn't help to be cheaper.
Thanks, You did a GREAT job explaining! I stumbled across your video and although I have different equipment it was very useful. You got me to dig out all the parts now I just need to get the VCR tapes/Player out of the closet. Another project to add to the list. thanks again
Thank you it's very useful, one day yes it's good to do it slow for the young generation maybe they end up doing videos for a favor their parents on the digital, thanks😊
