There is another spot with side shore wind and some waves. But it's not really a wave spot, more like big chop. But on strong wind days it can be up to 2 meters.

I surfed my whole life mostly here at the lake and learned most of the things here. So I guess I am just used to it. For me it's the reality since day 1 to surf in absolute chaotic choppy water 😅 Maybe if I try to surf in flatwater I would not manage anything 😝

Hi 🙂 I am looking for a good chop and when I found it I carve into the wind as radical as possible. From the moment of take off I lean back with the body and try to look over my shoulder in the direction where I will land. To do the rotation is really not difficult. The bigger problem is the landing which is really challenging!!

So unfortunately no really special tips 😅

Somebody gave me the tip for the Backloop to not have the arms stretched but to hang close to the boom. I feel that this doesn't work so good when you do it with such a small chop. I have the arms always long. I am just closing the sail short before the take off and then I basically just hang down 😄@nm
