This channel encompasses my hobbies, experiences, and activities, thus presenting a variety of video genres.
2023 update: I will attempt to include tarantula and reptile pet videos again, but life has changed so much since I started this channel... I still love tarantulas (currently, I have seven of them, along with a ball python and a bearded dragon) and music, but the most precious time is the time I spend with my children.
This is my personal channel, so I'm not striving for any particular goal. I'm doing it for fun, and I'm happy if some of you find my videos interesting!

All of my life, I've had a fascination/ fear of tarantulas. My high school kept one as a pet in the 1980's. The more I watch these videos, the less fearful I am of them. They are actually quite beautiful and adorable although I'll probably never be comfortable having one as a pet. Your's is a stunner and I couldn't stop watching her. Does she have a name ?
@@Chained2Alice since I'm new to the world of tarantulas, I forgot to ask: is there a specific place on their bodies where you can tap, or rub them, to let them know that you are friendly and not trying to hurt them? With other types of pets I know that this is possible.
Unfortunately, tarantulas don't have the mental capacity to recognize or respond to being petted. Their nervous systems are too simple for them to perceive or appreciate touch the way mammals do. Any reaction they have is more instinctual than affectionate.

Whoah just saw other vid not too long ago, glad molt was successful so the molt is about 17cm? So she’s pushing almost 7inches I thought you said from the previous vid that she’s was already about 8 inches, still heck of a pulchra though one of the biggest I’ve ever seen

I had a lovely ladie who lived many years at our back door..i loved to watch her glad i wasn't expected to feed her other than leaving the poach light on.. blessings
Poosr Tarantula. You are a danger to her. 1. her abdomen nearly is bold what means she kicked a lot of hairs and fell threaten or stressed out 2. you are handling her high above the ground, if she bolts, she will fal to her death. You should noot keep tarantulas if you dont know how to handle them proberly.
