After a few years of living with this code that Ford just kept resetting (It would come back after a few hours after service) I tracked it down to a Locking Gas Cap I bought when I bought the F150, remove the Gas Cap, rest the Code and it hasn't come back... I modified the Gas Cap by grinding down the centre post and drilling a small hole through the cap and it now works fine...
Interestingly had this code pop up and mechanic is suggesting replacing all three sensors. Is this normal considering the error code is for sensor no. 1?
So, I replaced the o2 sensor, I swapped injectors from bank two to bank one and vice versa and neither of those changed anything… what should be my next step??
Looking for a straight answer on what the KEY ON ENGINE OFF (not running) Fuel Pressure Sensor reading is supposed to be (on a real scan tool) for and LBZ and LMM when the sensor is working correctly. Is it Zero (0.0 Psi)? Or is it supposed to read something?
Muito Obg! A minha Ranger perdeu força e dava uns trancos... o cabo que conectar no sensor estava partido. Foi corrigido e agora está funcionando normalmente.
SHFT was 16% at idle on hot engine. When car was driven STFT dropped to zero. LTFT no charge was at 8%. Removed a code same as your video. Engine management light now off. Car was not displaying symptoms other than engine management light. Suspected vacuum leak as manifold vacuum less effect as throttle plate opens up. Thanks.
I got the 'Bank 1 Too Rich' error at a smog station, then went to Auto Zone and their machine suggested I replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor, which I did and will now test drive and hope the 'check engine' light does not return 🤞
