@@matthewpastrikos7383 The Daleks are notoriously protected by the estate of creator Terry Nation. The BBC and the other networks need special cotractual clearance from the estate to be used in any Who-related production, hence the rights issues.

@@matthewpastrikos7383 Yep. I tried sharing a YT clip of the Treaty of Westphalia but a friend in the UK couldn't see it. Turns out BBC-related content is heavily regulated in the UK. So, BBC is safely up there with Toho on how well-protected their properties are.
