I am in a used car sales and repair business and I always try to fix whatever I can myself. Purpose of this channel is to show you that you can do things by yourself as well. My channel is a mix of car repair videos, driving, product reviews and everything else connected to automobile industry.

My switch works sometimes. I have to open the passage door and close it, and then it works. But I made sure the passage door is closed securely. Any suggestions 🤔
It's really helpful. i was about to remove the wiper motor because i chick the fuse, but i didn't check rlelay . My car problem was its relay. You saved me 4 hours of labor, thank you thank you.
I had problems with battery going dead if not driven for 2 days but that seemed to resolve itself. Also, the tailgait sometimes closes when I have my head in there taking out groceries, etc. Also, the hood doesn't stay up and I have to use a stick to keep it open. The car always seemed to drift on the highway and you definitely had to keep your eyes on the road. Maybe the tire pressure sensors are not accurate? I put a few extra pounds in the front and a few fewer in the rear- lots better. 2017 edge, v6, 30,000 miles.
Removing main fuse should do it but I wouldn't recommend doing it. It will affect traction control system and there is higher tendency brakes will lock up and it will affect the safety while driving. ABS problems are usually easy to diagnose and fix as probably you are dealing with failed abs sensor or corroded wiring towards one of the sensors
You will have to scan the module and follow up on the codes. Could be something as simple as failed wheel speed sensor or corroded wiring towards one of the sensors
Hmmm hard to say without looking at the vehicle. It could still be starter problem or bad grounds. Could also be a ignition lock issue. Also make sure theft light is not blinking as I know this vehicles have problems with that where anti theft system goes crazy and doesn't allow vehicle to start
@@QuiteAlright thanks for the response. yes I changed that switch. the security light does not come on nor does any warning lights. I jumped the starter relay and the motor cranks over fine. I only get an air bag light on the dash nothing else.
Hmm hard to say without checking the car could be a wiring issue. But I would start with a door switch. Door switch connects with the interior & warning lights, stereo system, and other devices to regulate their on/off mechanism.
I had to replace a battery (orignal factory), 2 radiators, and now I guess I may need transmission work. Bc it has starting dying out when going into reverse. Had to replace the emergency brake thingy that ran under the SUV. One of my back brakes collects all the rain water in it so I have to drain that. 😂 This 2017 SUV has 80,000 miles and it has kicked ass going from CO-NorCA many trips, then to NorCA-AZ a few times. It handles great. But if I would have paid full price for it, I wouldn't be happy with all these little issues. I bought for it $15,000 with 10,000 miles on it. Totaled out from hail damage. I had a 2001 Nissian Pathfinder for 8 years never needed half the work. They just don't make vehicles that great anymore.
@@QuiteAlright I didn't wasnt to belive the replacement camera went bad in 6 months but it did. I purchased a new replacement camera from chevypartsdirect ($155) it fixed the issue. I never did find the fuse that would power it but I did find a schematic and was able to measure 12 volts at the plug.
Hi, no it shouldn't. Maybe try cleaning the contacts in the fob and make sure unlock button is not touching the board at al times. i had similar problems on some other vehicles and this helped
Pull out the radio unit and inspect wiring / connections behind it. Then check wiring at the driver and passenger door jambs behind the rubber sleeve as often wires there get damaged from closing and opening the door. If all good it could be internal radio problem. Check all of the fuses before anything else
Thank you so much. I was having the opposite problem as I was seeking heat. Driver side started to ice in front of me as I drove while the passenger side was warm.
Hi, in that case code is also on a sticker on the back side of the fuse box under the steering wheel. Very tricky to access. You have to unscrew the fuse box and then use a small mirror or something similar to view it. Check the video from 3:00 I'm talking a bit about it

On my 2012 Mustang my windshield wipers only work on the highest speed setting and when I go to turn them off they'll stop whever they're at when i turn the switch.
