Awesome Video I recently visited your RU-vid channel and enjoyed your content. However, I noticed that your videos are not ranking well due to some issues. I believe that if these issues are addressed, your videos will rank better. Here are the issues I found with your channel: 1. Video SEO has not been properly done. 2. Videos are not being released on time. 3. The video titles are not optimized. 4. Keyword research has not been done effectively. 5. Video thumbnails are not appealing enough to attract viewers. Solving these issues will help your RU-vid channel perform better.
I have the Octabell for about a year now and I love them. There isn't much difference between the octabell and the nuobell other then price. I guess it's more of a preference when it comes to looks. I like the hex look and went for it. I haven't dropped them and don't intend to as with all adjustable dumbbells, it isn't good to drop them because of the pieces of plastic. Definitely worth the money on either one but the Octabell is my choice. I'm also wondering why no one is reviewing or talking about them.
First day impressions:It arrived in a waist high box. ru-vid.comUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 Each dumbbell was in its own foam box within the shipping box. Everything was secure and in good shape. No weird smells. The weight changing mechanism is really smooth and straight forward. Changing weight is really fast and easy. Though the handle is plastic, I don't think it will be breaking anytime soon. So far pretty impressed after my first session with them. I was afraid they were going to be too wide at first, but I didn't have any issues with them while doing upright rows.
Since the nuobell are using the same exact 5lbs for every piece of weight, what if all the plates get mixed up, can we just place them back in any slot. Or do they got to go in certain slots. I k ow Bowflex has got to be in certain slots
How are these Dumbells holding up ? I’m considering picking these up over the nuobell Dumbells but I’m worried about durability and warranty . Is it the same as Nuobell ?
Octa is great it doesn't roll, nuo is slightly cheaper in my country, for durability powerblock is the pick.... trust me they are all durable under normal use. But I bought octa for overall quality and looks,
@@fitnesscasa How are they holding up? Other than their build quality is great. Have you dropped them and how did they hold up? Cycling the handle have any issues? These caught my attention since they won't roll like nuos...
Any adjustable dumbbell should never be dropped at all regardless of the brand. You will get used to not dropping these once you start to use them daily. :) Thanks~!
I bought these with my nuobells (80lbs) from Fitness Casa a few months ago now and these small magnetic weights are are a must have in my opinion. These are super strong magnets and allow for more flexible options for weight increases. Make sure you get 4 total to increase the weight on both dumbbells by 2.5lbs on each side! 10/10, make sure you buy from Fitness Casa as well if your local in Ontario WAY cheaper than ordering it from outside of Canada and you dont have to pay the extra fee's for importing etc.
I have had the Nuobells for about a year and they are excellent. Upgraded from the Bowflex 90 pound ones, which I used for many years. The Nuobells are a big step up in feel and look like regular high quality dumbbells. It's just a more authentic experience. Definitely recommend the stand as well. Only thing I would change is to have a 100 or 120 pound option, but I have barbells and a power rack for the compound movements anyway. Great product. Well engineered and very solid feeling. If they match your budget, it's a no brainer.
Great review! I really like the white octabells but I'm wondering if they'll show grime and scuff marks over time? should I just go with the black ones?
Yes, the black ones are our top seller! :) Overtime, it might get some scuff but they are don't get easily get scuffed and barely noticeable~ We had these on our display at our showroom for a long time and you are more than welcome to come visit our store to check them out in person. This way, you will be able to see how the quality is in time. These are built to last as long as you don't drop them. No adjustable dumbbell should ever be dropped regardless of the brand~! :)
Thanks very much for your feedback~~ We are always trying our new products and we will try our best to come out with such upgrades in the near future. :)
@@fitnesscasa Good morning, thank you for your prompt response. I will certainly thonk about visiting the next time I will be in Mississauga. Might be awhile since I am from Montreal. but again thank you.
With the nuo is there an issue with accidentally changing weight during handling (since adjustment is done by handle twist) or must it be in the holder to change?
Bowflex is a great brand and they have great products as well. :) Everyone has their own style and preference~ It is totally up to you to choose the best one for yourself. OCTABELL and NUOBELL is a great option! :)
Are there any advantages to the Octabell, besides price? Less likely to roll, probably. But do they use metal anywhere where the Nuobell uses plastic, for instance?
They both has plastic pieces but the plastic pieces are thick and does not easily break unless you drop the dumbbells. Regardless of brand, adjustable dumbbells should never be dropped. ;)
Nuobells are an excellent design. Fast change up. Quicker than going from dumbell to dumbell in a gym …Imagine a gym with 30 pairs of these. If they were even more indestructible- to be commercially useful - No fighting over who’s got the 10k’s or 12k’s you will have an entire rack to yourself. I prefer the nuo for the solid old school look and feel. I Purchased the standing rack holder too. I can train everything- although i find i need to hit a gym for Back and especially Legs as am an advanced lifter with 20yrs exp. So to say they can work on nearly every bodypart is excellent. And it all hides away neatly with my multi foldable bench and the rack is hidden well too No one would know u have a gym set up when its packed away. Decent investment. Beats creating an entire room full of racks and bars etc etc etc been there. Done that.
