Welcome to the RU-vid channel of the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry, an organisation on a mission to improve the oral health of children in the UK. On our channel you will find fun videos aimed at guiding children and families to master the art of keeping their teeth healthy and strong. There are also videos which show our members on the news, talking about the unacceptably high number of hospital dental extractions caused by excessive day in children's mouths. Our Society consists mostly of dentists who have undertaken higher training to become Consultants, Specialists, Academics and Community Officers but we are open to anyone who cares about kids teeth and giving every child in the UK the best start on their dental journey.
Dr Ranj was found to be a trusted source of information from our research. He is very well know, a specialist in Paediatric Emergency Medicine and gave his time freely. Without his help the videos would not have been possible and have such a wide appeal.
My child was born with 2 teeth in 2013. They stayed in her mouth until around 18 months. She's now almost 6 and still has a gap as her adult teeth are yet to come through.
