I get the same response: I’m sorry for any confusion, but as an AI, I don’t have the capability to view documents or files directly. However, if you describe the content of your resume to me, I can certainly provide you with feedback and suggestions for improvement. Please share the key points of your resume, such as your work experience, skills, education, and any specific areas you’d like me to focus on for the evaluation.
So sorry that you are having that experience. Since I recorded this video Microsoft has changed the interface in the Edge browser a little bit, placing a drop down above the area where you can ask a question. Choose the, "This page" option just above the text field where you are asking the question. It works for me when I ask it questions. Also, ensure you are opening a PDF file of your resume AND that you are using MS Edge browser.
Glad you think so, @SeanOliver. I love investigating what does and doesn't work to engage people within an organization. I'm often surprised what gains traction with people and what doesn't, which certainly keeps it interesting!
I'm a big fan of the Notebook, but it's not a clean slate each time you "refine" your prompt. For example, the second time around it takes the whole previous prompt and response into account as well. For that reason, I don't really think it's a good prompt refinement tool unless you're going to reset the conversation between tweaks. I do consider it a better, more user-friendly interface but not specifically for that use case.
Thanks, John! I’m impressed with the capabilities Microsoft has created and am seeing use cases for GPTs everywhere now. Love that you can tune it super easily over time.
