You’ll notice that the majority of my videos are various BNL clips, most of which were transferred from old VHS Tapes. Some clips were shared with me, so thanks go out to other BNL fans for holding onto those old tapes. If you’re a BNL fan; past or present, then I hope you enjoy.
Do you by any chance still have the VHS tape from this episode of Odd Job Jack, or know the person who had it? It would be a huge help if you did because this episode is otherwise lost.
No, they don’t they said themself they don’t really got anything from the show anymore other then these clips. However I remember I found some photos of a vhs ripped Odd Job Jack episode on some old website that linked to rapidshare so I theorize these clips came from one of those files on that site.
They are doing a concert in 2024 that ...As much as I would love to see them... I wont be buying tickets for because it's not the same with out the two of them. BNL is gone...
I wonder if occasionally Steven hums to himself, 🎵I never thought there'd be days like this, there was always someone at my door🎵 🎵I never thought I would ever miss, and the crowd would always holler for more🎵 🎵But now it seems all the people want is what I used to be🎵 🎵And every time I try to do something new, all they want is 1993...🎵
Does ANYONE have the episode torrent Smiley Guy released, or any recordings outside the season 2 DVD? I'm trying to rescue and preserve this show for the internet.
Hey Angie, I'm a big fan of what you've done for BNL fans like me and wanted to ask a question. There was a taping of a Late Night with Conan O'Brien episode in which BNL performed Enid. It was the February 8, 1994 episode, which happened to be the 100th episode of the show. The video seems to have been taken down from your channel and I can't find it anywhere else online. Would you happen to have that video still and would you be willing to share it? Thank you.
Would never have listened to 5 seconds of this new BNL without Page who really was the star and greatest talent. Good for them for trucking along and it beats a day job but at this point it is nostalgia.
Watching this after seeing a more recent performance where Ed really struggled through Old Apartment. The band just isn't the same, or as good. But anyone who says they were family friendly only went to their All Ages shows lol
I like their post-Page stuff but when they sing Steve's songs it just feels off. No knock on Kevin but Sound of Your Voice falls completely flat, need big pipes to do it justice. They still put on a good show but during their Maroon days I went to a sold out ACC arena, was on another level big time.
I was on the "Ships and Dips" cruise with them. He and his girlfriend were all coked-out the whole time. We knew it was the end after watching him interact with the band for a whole week.
They just don't have the same sound since Page left. The resonance of Page's voice made thier harmonies fantastic. And its missing, along with the humor of the banter between songs in the live shows.
I honestly think page put himself in this situation I mean it's obvious when you mention barenaked ladies people are more likely to recognize them than if I where to mention Steven page people would be like who?
This has to be the most underrated band ever in popular music of the last decades. I’m from Chile and I feel like I’m the only huge fan of ‘em here. I love them in all of their stages, with or without Steve, Kevin or Andy. Their music makes me happy, and will always be part of my life. Thanks BNL, God bless the six of you.
