This is such a difficult anime to sample. Not actual difficulty, but it's so damn grim.

I remember watching this on VCD ages ago, with chinese subtitles (done by a hong kong company, iirc), and althou even the chinese subtitles were a bit iffy, I really loved this series (and the one before it, I went and bought both)

I feel asnif the crestors cuosento made the Quote unquote "Angels" a mockery of the celestial beings to show that although angels cam be merchiful more often than not they are merciless and will destroy things and people who get in there way i aslo believe the Eva units to be a represemtation of holy demons in pther words the angels are demonic and the demons are holy and the fact that this show deals with comcepts like death,murder,sexual relationships,anixety attacks, depression,violence,the death of innocenece nuclear warfare and apoclyptic scenarios,makes it all the more real and better it also goes to show thst pre y2k people thought the end was upon us over all Neon Genesis Evangelion is a absute masterpiege notnjustnof anime but of ajimation over all characters are perfect pacing is perfect ending is perfect lore is perfect...need ingo on? Over all 100/10 for this show
