@@Vourne I only see BGs popping in their respective weekends for the most part except for WSG. AB is my absolute favorite BG yet good luck with that outside AB weekend :(
@@VirusVanquisher Within the last few weeks ranking has been achieved almost exclusively through AV. The other day it was like 9:00 am on a wednesday morning and there were like 6 AV's active. AB doesn't pop though unless it's AB weekend.
I think blizzard may benefit from doing what the private server Everlook did. They released the game exactly as it was in 2004 release with patch progression, not phases. They utilized things like progressive itemization i.e. not all caster items had spell power on them until AQ40, and likewise melee gear with hit rating. They also did things like only 8 debuff slots up until ZG I think and 16 debuff slots beyond that. Little things like this enabled guilds to not stack warriors like a bunch of mongrels because other than the class rogue, melee didn't have enough hit rating to make it good at the start. Hunters, mages, and rogues dominated the dps early on until AQ40. Also, pvp gear wasn't as amazing as it was until AQ40 as well so you didn't see crazy pvp stuff happening just to make BWL easier. I think this style made the game a lot healthier and didn't really allow people to completely cheese the raids like in classic 2019 where you had the patch 1.12 at the start. Food for thought, but I think it's much healthier in the long run.
Do I have to pay for private servers? Can anyone tell me how to get into this. I like wow classic at 60 but i dont like the SOD changes or cata classic. Thanks lemme know

Didn't know that you could do this. Considering that you can hit the button to cast a spell at like 95% of your previous cast, I'd guess it's that mechanic interacting with the Hearthstone cast. It probably works as long as the Hearth is progressed enough for you to theoretically start casting another spell. There's some addons that show where that breakpoint is for Mages or whatever, so it would be interesting if they also showed on the Hearthstone to make this easier.
