We wish him all the best in his new role. That he will be a prime example of a young man who rose from the trenches to make a difference in our country and continent!
Great panel here, looking forward to this new series. Particularly happy for Maina Karobia, a Kenyan youth who at 28 won a seat at the East Africa Legislative Assembly, he overcame all odds. Looking forward to hearing the story of each panelist.
I have really enjoyed every bit of this series; the conversations have been quite educative and thought provoking. Indeed, the Kenyan youth have great potential, potential that can effect change and promote good governance. Thank you Zinduka!
This is true indeed for as long as we look to the West to play catch up we shall always fall short. I agree we indeed have to draw inspiration from God and innovate around the space we are in.
Heh...the pressure is getting wesser....!! 😄. Swimming in the deep end, very nice👌🏾. I have been quite enjoying Episode 6's dialogue build-up!!! Necessary discussions. Thank you all. Keep them coming!
Great Convo; Part of our stake and role is not only oversight and hold government accountable but guide and get policies streamlined for the good of the Nation
Having favorable economic policies for the Kenyan youth is much better than the president allocating appointments to youth in my opinion. The proper policies will come with many opportunities that will eventually empower the youth.
Wueh! Cliff hanger 😃. I can attest that Hannah's drive went from zero to 💯 once Martha checked in. She also forced me to dig deeper into both coalitions since I was team KK and my good friend was on the other side. Waiting for the next part..
Kevin good to see we can have converdations about politics on an issue based level. Kenya has come a long way. I'm looking forward to meet in person to discuss more, as you can see its a topic dear ti my heart
I love Zinduka. This platform is very educative for Kenyan youth with the desire to play an active role in governance and policy making. Great host and great selection of guests.
Kudos Zinduka on the new location and direction!!! Quite looking forward to more guests and stories towards nation building and holding government accountable!! 👌🏾👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Bernard, your story is soooooo beautiful! And it is such a delight to have witnessed you in season one and now to be saying to you "Congratulations Mhesh" 😃👌🏾👏🏾. Your heart is truly in the right place. God Bless you on the journey ahead and in this new season you are in, as you remain a faithful and true servant and leader. And above all, reward you with more of HIM! God Bless you! Zinduka, I'm really loving this! And very good on the angle of accountability, excellent! Where's part 3 already 😅
Kenya is blessed with plenty of geothermal and hydroelectric resources, I believe that with proper management and utilization, the cost of power per unit kilowatt hour can be greatly reduced. This will in turn encourage industrialization, create employment and improve the quality of living for Kenyans.
1. KNOW thyself 2. LEAD thyself 3. BE thyself - so mightily broke down. And all culminating in Boldness! Do not be afraid to Go Forth. So much to ponder (and action) as individuals and as a nation. But it also got me thinking in the same line of us as the African continent and a people... What is our unique identifier? And then how do we nurture it and finally how do we live it out! Beautiful episode! Thank you!
Spot on the point. Many a times the youth become lethargic coz of the disconnect between what they really want and that is suggested to them to do. What about consciously and deliberately guiding and literary supporting what they say they want. Eg content creation, business process outsourcing, robotics etc etc etc.
Indeed! Instead of force feeding them into what they do not want, create an enabling environment to do that which they are passionate, gifted and skilled to do!
This is such a nice episode Zinduka! Way to go! 🤩🥳. What a beautiful message! Full of so much power and hope! Zinduka Season 2 is definitely going to be something special!! Beautiful!!! ❤️
Given that in Kenya that it is he who counts the vote that matters many Kenyans are seeing that there is no need to vote and that is why they are deregistering themselves as voters. No where in Kenya are their people optimistic about this regime and they began on the wrong note and are trying to hide themselves behind some religious veil and given the type of characters they are it is very hypocritical.
One of the young people I work with said youth all he had to do to get money from the youth fund was have his ID and a registered company. He was given the money to grow his business but not required to pay back or even demonstrate how he would utilise the funds. Its like the Youth fund was just trying to meet a target of a certain number of businesses given funds. The young people then just took advantage of the situation and collected the cash and ate it....I hope the hustler fund won't be like this, otherwise it will become just another bottomless pit for taxpayers money.
We hear you. We need to take the learnings from the past and make sure we do not make the same mistakes now and in the future, in this case, with the hustler fund
"We as a people are the ones who determine the unity of this country..." Thank you for this entire video, beautifully said! And to add to your encouragement to us all to vote, borrowing from a friend's share, he said and I paraphrase 'The kind of country you shape is determined by the person who is sitting in office. Thus the election must matter to all of us and to the young people all the more. We must care because the people being elected to all the different offices are going to have power to make certain decisions. Decisions that will affect us even in decades to come. Decisions that will affect Kenya in the years to come. And young people will be the primary workforce of tomorrow, will be the ones running the startups of tomorrow, will be the parents of tomorrow whose children will be living in the country. And so, if you have a vision of what you want Kenya to be in the next 10, 20 and future years, then let that vision be the reason you care for this election. Let it be the reason you get up and go and vote on the 9th of August, and let it be the reason you should be careful whom you are voting for." MC Sakwa Thank you Sellah! It has been an amazing and enlightening journey! We too are grateful for and are proud of you and Zinduka! God Bless you! God Bless Kenya!
I like the guy who talked about job creation and the fact that the jos are already here and all the youth need is a phone and the Internet and voila! 1 million jobs. All the youth need is enabling environment reduce taxes on equipment that enables content creation. Job creation sio lazima ati factory ijengwe ndio kazi ipatikane....I like. Great meeting, fantastic insights.
Great seeing the youth making presidential candidates review their standing in the comming election and what comes after the election. How bold and diplomatic the issues are being raised is quite admirable👏. Looking forward to seeing and hearing authentic feedback from the presidential candidates. This is an awakening platform. Let's keep conversations going. Good job Zinduka crew 🥂
That was AMAZING!!!!! Well done Team Zinduka! Thank you Sellah! Oh yes! Absolutely ready and looking forward to a session with the presidential candidates sharing their feedback.
MCA hawezifunguwa hata kioo na vile bodaboda ndio huwa na influence? wakitaka kujuwa umuhimu wa bodaboda waulize Simba Arati. they should be supported and respected. na wasaidiwe because their life is always at a risk.
