Original MLB Broadcast out of my own archives most of which were recorded & edited myself as they aired or through VCR timers In the mid 80s to the mid 2000's and also large amount of games collected through the years through VHS and DVD trades These are all Original Broadcasts on this channel no Classic Sports or Cable Rewinds. All games have been restored and digitized, and some color corrections and cleaned-up audio tracks layed down in post production through MacroSystem straight off pre recorded or original VHS or Beta Tapes or DVD masters.. This is an ERA of Baseball that has been lost and the game hasn't been the same since the early 2000s and thats when I stopped recording, being a fan most of my original game Broadcast are from the NY Mets and probably haven't been seen since they aired most of these games were recorded & edited live of key games or just random games or games attended.

This is great! Chuck Thompson! I was 13 years old when the O's won this series. I was happy because of the loss to the Mets the year before. Great time for baseball in America!
"It was for Bob Kennedy, who didn't do all that badly considering his budget. Jody Davis was his, you know, and Leon Durham and Lee Smith - and Kennedy didn't have to Philadelphia for them. Speaking of which, it has to be for Phillies' president, Bill Giles, too. Thanks a bunch, ol pal! A guy recently asked if there was a list of trades Dallas Green has made since coming to Chicago. Was mean of me to tell him he should call up the Phillies?" - Ron Rappaport, "Cubs lore no longer so poor," Chicago Sun-Times, published 3 years after this game, almost exactly to the day.
The Barber vs the Yankee Killer. Don't remember Maglie pitching for the Yanks only 2 years after being the losing pitcher in Don Larsen's perfect game in the 56 WS.
I became an Oriole fan in 1966. This series bugged me. I thought for sure the O's would win. But they three-year stretch of '69, '70, and '71 was great.
Great video the Braves and all that future talent and at least one big piece of the puzzle is waiting AARON) no wonder the Braves will be so hot through the 50's
World Series in the daytime! Early in the afternoon, with football to follow!! No pyrotechnics and crazy graphics!!! Oh God, those were the days, my friend!!!!
I have been a cubs fan all my life and It took me 59 years to finally become a white sox fan after watching these nice thrilling games on the replay, what took me so long
The "slumping" Washington Senators. LOL like they were five games over .500 at some point then went 2-8 over two weeks to slip under .500 and fall into the Second Division...the "new" Washington Senators were always slumping except for 1969.
The Mick, The Splendid Splinter, Al Kaline, Stan the Man, Eddie Matthews, Frank Robinson, The Say Hey Kid, Duke Snider, Hammerin’ Hank…Ugh…What an assembly of legends. (I was) Born at the wrong time…😑
Love these old games. Willie Mays was getting old by then. Tight division race in national league. Last place team was just 4 games out if i remember correctly
Sal "the Barber" Maglie pitching for the Yankees! He was the opposing pitcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers when Don Larsen pitched his Perfect Game in the World Series ... the Yankees would win that World Series in 7 games.
Great memories. Love these old games. Can you please add 1979 San Diego Padres full televised games if any exist.. or 1983? There's none available on RU-vid. Looking for old memories of Jack Murphy Stadium
Mex playing for the Cards. If he only knew what was coming in 1983 and how not only his career, but his life would change. He still makes his home in New York. Keith despised New York before coming here, now he is a quintessential New Yorker.
So glad I ran across this video. I was arguing with someone recently about empty seats at a World Series in Baltimore and low and behold it was this 71 WS, with the wings of the upper decks empty.
