I saw the Oconnor family at Walnut valley...great set(s) ,Mark s birthday is 2 days before mine a bit of a mentor to me, I started mandolin 1977. my bouzouki is from Joe Foley ( if he is still alive)in Church town Dublin. Cute clever rendition of Whiskey * breakfast which i think is the 2nd Irish tune i ever learned. thank you Forrest.
Just discovered this a couple weeks ago and keep coming back over and over and over. Where was I four years ago not to have heard this or known about O'Connor Lee? (Especially since I've been a fan of Mark since the 80s.) No matter. I know about them now and they have shot to the top of my playlist!
Hi Denis, I usually use D'Addario medium coated strings for mando! And there is more information on the GoFundMe page regarding Kate's health situation. Thank you!
Wow. I just read your GoFundMe for Kate. What a devastating development. I wondered why we hadn't heard from you two in so long. Praying for Kate and you.
Wow. A new video and NEW MUSIC! Gorgeous song and great to see y'all out and about having fun. Can't wait to see you play again and to hear the new record and, even more, to hear that everyone is getting healthier. Will be praying for y'all.
Superb! It's so well-Orchestrated. Every note in the right place. Interesting lyrics with rhythmical Rymes that Syncopate the music in a way that's entirely new to me. Beautiful Melody, Great song writing! Well done to all.
