im completely irritated💜 by the beauty of the musicians and the voice.......i could have sworn i listen to something new of Nick Cave..... lol... absolutely gorgous!
Peter has Big Bass energy with love you to death. A vampire that was built like a Greek god when he was sober and healthy. Once he was recovering by 07 he looked very skinny but he was getting back to being better around that time too
If anyone is wondering, the song Phil and the boys play at 27:36 is AC/DC's Sin City (at around the 3 minute mark). Because if you're obsessed like me, this MATTERS.
Tanks from Brazil Prelude to agony (pain) 1:05 Love you to death 9:32 Christian women 16:05 Kill all the white people feat Phil anselmo 24:19 Cinnamon girl 29:25 Black no 1 33:49
Omg seriously Pantera, Type O and Ozzy in the same day.. that would’ve been my dream. Dang I love them. This version of Love You to Death was on another level. Their live performances were incredible and I love Petes voice and Josh on those keys come on man. This version of Pain tho geez I love that song but you can hear so much sadness. On a side note Johnny is beating the hell out of those drums. I miss them. RIP Peter 💚🖤
Me too. I feel like one of those Dead Heads who got to see Jerry. I got to see Dime, and Vinnie, and Pete. They are sorely missed. I still wish I could have gotten to see Jerry, but I'll settle for Pete.
Giorgio Gomelsky actually sent me to France in 1978 to replace the the other drummer Clement Bailly, but Magma was not happening by the time I got there to stay at their managers house in Antony near downtown Paris. TRUE story.
This tour was epic, and I am so glad I get to relive it through these videos. I loved that time so much, and Ozzfest was amazing and can never be repeated..
Ozzfest was lame next to Milwaukee Metalfest... I was a giant fuckin' commercial to sell Jagërmeister, Bud lite, n Trojan condoms. Metalfest was ALL about the music and the artists who made it.
